Although Michigan is the last remaining team from the Big10, a lot of people don't realize how tough that conference was this year. Granted I was only watching Big 10 and Pac12 games, but the level of play from Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and even Minnesota and Illinois depending on the day was incredible. The Big10 season really prepped Michigan and allowed them to grow up quickly, have some tough loses and figure things out. Thus the quick rise of McGary.
I'm not sure what happened to Florida as I hadn't watched them play, but I couldn't really tell what their team was about through that whole game. Obviously they got punched in the mouth early and couldn't recover. What I loved about that game was watching the freshmen step-up when Hardaway was having an awful game. Spike, McGary and of course Stauskas shooting it like he did the first half of the season.
Trey vs a 6'6" MCW is going to be extremely difficult. Hopefully he can use his speed and a few McGary screens to get things going. Go Blue!!
