Be prepared to complain about CJ just how we complain about Mo then.
Mo rarely can break down a defense, relies on an inconsistent jump shot, and has no defense.
So I'm willing to give CJ a chance. Then again, I'm one of those people who would have liked to have seen burks play more pg this year.
When you look at it, ALL the top PGs in the league aren't the "traditional" pg. all are fantastic athletes who primarily objective is to break down the defense and score. Pass/run the offense is secondary. Westbrook, dwill, cp3, rose, curry, Lawson, Parker, Jennings, and Lillard. Due to the way perimeter players are officiated in today's nba, the 1 and the 2 has become almost identical. Look at what Lin and harden are doing. Curry and Thompson. The Knicks, nuggets, thunder, heat, and nets are all essentially using their 1s and 2s interchangeably.
Folks like cy, who are merely koc/Corbin apologists don't see this. They want us to all drink the Locke Kool-aid. They refuse to see how the nba is evolving. The nfl is breaking away from the traditional running back (big bruiser) and power formations and going with smaller quicker rbs who can also act as WRs in spread formations. Likewise, the NBA is moving away from the traditional 1-2 sets, blending the 2, and using them both to drive to the hoop, create, draw fouls, and to score. Gone are the days of setting up an offense and dumping it down inside to a dominate post player. Here are the days of spreading the court out and having guys drive and nail 3s. Even if you have a post player (like a Dwight Howard) typically you will surround him with a bunch of athletic shooters (like orl when they went to the finals. Or sa for the past 10 years)
Btw, CJ would kick Mo's ***. He is far more talented and skilled than Mo will ever be.
