Following potential 2013 draftees

I'm more interested in smart ******** than dumbasses whether they be kind or not. That Goodwin's first name is "Archie" is pretty much all that needs to be said.

Did I just miss the discussion about Livio Jean-Charles? Watching the Hoop Summit game and not stat-watching, I was very impressed. After finding out what he finished with in the game*, then see his measurements**, then see his league-play numbers***, I'm wondering why this thread is not overflowing with boners for the kid.

* 27 points, 13 rebounds

** Height w/Shoes: 6'9
Weight: 217
Wingspan: 7'2.25

*** 55%(2)/42%(3)

I dunno.. he made most of his points off put backs and FTs though right? I mean it wasn't like he was busting out moves... Seems like a good hustle guy.. I dunno why nobody has brought it up...

Do those points count less? Dude was imposing his will on the game. Not everyone can handle the ball all the time. A guy that can make points on hustle and open shots, then be an impressive physical specimen that can guard four positions will ALWAYS have a place in the NBA.

Not disputing that.. may be it's just not the glamorous part the game that's why nobody really noticed it..

Also it's not a pressing need for our team right now when Kanter can't even get off the bench, so don't think this guy will have much of a chance, no?

He's not in the draft. We'll bring him up next year haha

Considering it's very possible both Sap and Jefferson leave, I would say addressing our backup bigs is definitely a pressing need.

I'm not counting on KOC/Lindsey handing the reign over to Kanter & Favors completely next year...

We already have Evans as our 4th big, I suspect KOC/Lindsey will bring a vet 3rd big, or someone who can play next to Favors with Kanter off the bench.

I wouldn't be looking at Jean-Charles as being a big as much as a hybrid forward. To be honest, I saw a wing straight up.

Tweener, I'll pass.

A guy that can guard the perimeter and shoot is not a tweener. He can do the former, and I'm pretty sure he can do the latter, at least eventually.

Not all players that can play multiple positions are tweeners. In fact, that is the opposite of a tweener.

I'd thrown his name in another thread about 2014-2015 starting 5:

I copy pasted the orginal post, and didn't change the starters. This should be the original list which Burks will be our 6th man, spark on the bench for 30 min/g

1. Trey Burke / Alec Burks / 2nd round pick (Nate Walters - Leo Westermann)
2. Gordon Hayward / Alec Burks
3. Jabari Parker / DeMarre Carroll / Veteran SF
4. Enes Kanter / Jeremy Evans / 2nd round pick (Livio Jean Charles)
5. Derrick Favors / Willie Cauley-Stein (Giannis Adetokoubo)

We would have 2 French guys if we draft Leo Westermann and Livio Jean Charles.

Draft the best available, but we don't need a big so bad if we grab Tomic.
I'm telling you he is finally ready.
