Following potential 2013 draftees

He looks ready. What I took from the video is the need for a PnR PG for Tomic as well as Favors and Kanter.

I finally got to see a full game from him this week(it had been a 2 years), and I was surprised. He's finally improved.
Not perfect or amazing mind you, but noticeably better using his size to finish, and defend. He was able to alter shots, and bother opposing players much better
than the last time I saw him. He was the best player on the court most of the time.

Here's a video from the game I saw. You see the big dude he was going up against. He held his own against the big strong opposing center.

Denny, and Ante could be a fun pair to watch...

They could become Jazz's version of Rubio & Pekovic.. LOL

Locke just mentioned that the Jazz have been scouting Schroe since well before the Hoops Summit. He also mentioned that the Jazz are probably not happy that he has blown up since last week.

I've had a very low baseline interest in Tomic until recently. But, yeah, I'm very interested now.

I think the trick has always been his buyout and enticing him with a salary figure that would match or exceed his earning potential in Europe. Does anybody have data on these? Rep will definitely follow detailed answers.

I can believe all of that. At the same time, Schroeder wouldn't be as likely to declare and stay in the draft if he was still a secret. In a draft this crappy, I take that scenario over him not declaring every time.

as for Jean-Charles...

I liked what I saw. He seemed to know how to play a man's game (the way he handled the ball inside, etc.). If the consensus was that he'd have no problem guarding the 3 and the 4, and that he could become a consistent perimeter threat, then he'd be pretty ideal.

That said, I'm much more interested in Giannis....

Does anybody know why Giannis wasn't at the Hoops Summit?

Will that hurt his draft stock?... potentially sliding him to our 21st pick?

I personally think a lot also rides on whether he would see the floor or not. Because for the last couple of years, he would've been a 5th big (if not 6th considering Evans).

I'd rather take a chance on Giannis as well, I'm just skeptical he'll be there at 21 and I like Schroeder more.

Yes. Agreed.

We obviously have space for him now -- which is why I'm so interested in buyout and salary issues.
