Following potential 2013 draftees

Interesting interview here of Sergey Karasev. When asked "Is there any NBA player that you want to patent your game or compare yourself to?"

The answer was: "Probably Kobe"

I like how he didn't just say, oh he wants to be a knock down shooter like Kyle Korver or a European like Galinari, etc. He's aiming higher. I like that.

He also said he was most impressed with Wiggins, and that Wiggins had learnt from him "how to shoot the ball" - showing how confident he is in his mechanics and his shot.

oh good.. I feel much better now that he said he'd like to play like Kobe.

anyone else seeing some potential in the second round of this draft? I wouldn't mind getting another second and drafting another euro to stash.

Some guys that might be available (in order of likelihood) that I like:
-Ryan Kelly
-Alex Abrines
-Livio Jean-Charles
-Nate Wolters
-Mike Muscala
-Reggie Bullock

... or this guy's good too.

Ok, he didn't have a good Hoop Summit. But that's OK IMO. His shot is here to stay. Can he be a Klay Thompson type player? Play the 2 and the 3. Knock down the 3pt with consistency and the occasional drive & dish & layups?

If we take Schroeder at #14 and Greek Freak is gone by #21 - I like the look of him.

I can't see whatever thing it was you posted, but I highly doubt Karasev is there for us in round 2. I'd draft the **** out of him if he was, though.

Absolutely - in the first video he talked about wanting to develop betterer dribbling, etc. This from DX re his passing:

Karasev impacted the World Select Team's practices and the game itself with his high basketball IQ, even when he wasn't scoring. An extremely savvy passer, Karasev is unselfish and possesses excellent court vision. Forcing very little this week, he was content to take a complimentary role, but still managed to impress with his feel for the game and decision-making.

I think he could be paired with Hayward and thrive as well, with Hayward the driver / kicker, Karasev knocking down the 3pt shot. He doesn't seem as stiff as Korver defense wise neither.

I can't see why he can't play a Klay Thompson type role for us.

Here's some news from Greece:

Jonathan Givony ‏@DraftExpress
Absolutely ridiculous game between Giannis Adetokunbo's team and Naa Kifisia. Winner goes to Greek 1st division. Going to triple OT now.

Adetokunbo has looked like a bit of a deer in the headlights. Tired and pretty passive. Struggling playing without the ball. Just fouled out
