Murphy will probably be there for us, Muscala will not.
I doubt either will be.. but I do agree Muscala will be off the board first.
Minnesota fans would be willing to trade #9 for #14 and #21. Jazz would take McCollum. Minny would take a SG like Caldwell-Pope or maybe Glen Rice at #14 and BPA at #21. .....Not that fans carry any weight.
No way Lindsey would make that deal. You saw how tight he was at the trade deadline.

If we're willing to move Burks, we may not need to throw in #14. I don't think we'd want to throw Burks to the Wolves though.
If nothing else, Burks has shown he's a decent back up PG (for $2mil / year, that's pretty good).
But ultimately I think he can potentially step up in the Harden-lite 6th man role. We need to give him time and opportunity to do that.

Wouldn't hesitate to do this deal. I mean who cares about the 21st pick, what the hell we going to do with that pick other then sit him at the end of the bench for two or three years. Give me CJ!

Dennis Lindsey on 1280 with Spence Checkets, lots of good stuff. The last question to Lindsey, "So I want to try to pin you down on this what is your best guess for the number Dennis Schroder will selct for his uniform after you draft him"
Lindsey, uh, umm, no comment.
Earlier Lindsey said he was not in Vegas today, but Freidman and/or Perrin were. KOC and Lindsey are watching video and assembling player info. Jazz (Dennis, KOC, Ty, Rigby, and Bob Hyde) are having strategy meetings for draft and FA and will take a plan to the owners next week. Lots of FA money with not many FA on the market this summer. Jazz have the ability to trade up if they want to, there are also possibilities to trade back in the draft.
Draft workouts will be announced next week with several workouts coming after that. Jazz have received a great response from the players and agents. They want to come here because it is a good situation.
I'll post some of the non-draft related stuff in other threads.
