Following potential 2013 draftees

Well if you've been following Givony you'd know that everyone was lukewarm on Giannis up until today. He seemed to have warmed up a bit after a few matches under his belt and started to play up to the hype.

It is an unexpected surprise that's for sure.

The same thing happened to Oladipo - remember when he was slated at around #20?

I'm at the point where I might take Giannis over Shabazz. ....In part because I think Shabazz may have to dribble off his foot to register an assist.

But a guy with Giannis' length, quickness and ability to handle is a real boon.

With Burks, Hayward and Giannis on the floor, we'd have three triple-threat players (shoot, pass, drive) with above-average length on the perimeter.

I would not take Larkin at #14 either.
Maybe at #21 depending on who Jazz took at #14 and who's left at #21.

If we can somehow heist McCollum and Giannis in this draft, I think we'll already have a starting lineup that can contend in a couple years.

Tim Hardaway up to #23, right next to Bullock. Hmm.

I didn't think I'd ever see a mock draft where Pierre Jackson was higher than Archie Goodwin.

I just don't like Hardaway..

Agree on your 2nd point.. but I do understand it. I do think Archie should definitely be considered a sleeper pick, though. A couple of tweaks and he's a lottery guy.

Schroeder is rumored to have a promise from Boston at 16. Does this change the FOs thinking?

I think this is one of the strongest drafts for SGs in a few years. -- dipo, KCP, Franklin, Crabbe, Karasev, Hardaway Jr., Rice Jr., etc. It just pushes Goodwin down the list if he's perceived to have question marks. I think Hardaway in particular is stealing some of his thunder. Both are similar physically and are athletic slashing guards, but Hardaway is a bit more polished.

I'll say this about Goodwin: he has a fire in his eyes that I don't think I've seen since Michael Jordan. He wants to tear this league apart, and he's got the tools to do it. He knows it too. He could be like Harden + a potent mid-range game.
