Following potential 2014 draftees

Would Wiggins stay in Utah, with his wanting to be out of the limelight and all?

I think he would, as long as we've got a decent team, coaching staff and FO.

He has shown it's not about who he plays for, or play with, it's the winning that counts.

This doesn't line up with how Wiggins has handled himself to this point.

If it was really just winning, UK would have been the easy choice.. please don't debate that.

I think Wiggins is preparing himself to be branded as a guy that does it the right way.. the guy that, unlike Lebron, stays in CLE.
It's all a front created to transcend the big market/small market paradigm.. but possibly effective for a small mkt team to reap the rewards.

I think he knows he's most likely to go to a bad team... and he's bejng smart abiut how to go about making the best of it... and prove even a small or down market guy can get national attention and endorsements.

So, yes.. its a possibility.

I have been reading about how he compares to Tracy McGrady, all the skills but the desire and drive sometimes wane. Seems to me like he would not want to end up like T Mac, so doing it the right way first would help shirk that perception.

Or maybe he just liked Kansas more than the other schools. Sometimes the correct answer is the simplest answer.

Louisville would be the obvious choice for winning.

It would have been cool to see Wiggins go to an SEC school so he could dominate UK's team.

That goes without saying. I've been banging on this point for weeks now and I was sure u'd get sick of it that's why I didn't mention it.

He'll do it his way, first and foremost, ala Jordan, ala Kobe.

BUT - it doesn't mean he'll tolerate mediocrity. He'll say in Utah - as long as the FO is committed to building a winning culture. He won't bolt straight away the way LeBron did, but he'll put on the pressure for make sure the FO is doing everything it possibly can to win (ala Kobe with his Bynum comment).

thats w/o shoes im guessing?

so hes bigger than tyson chandler now, as a 19 year old. they say tyson has a hard time keeping weight on, needs to work out everyday or he gets skinny, im personally like that.. im guessing WCS isnt, and can load wt easily, is that being presumptuous??

so its safe to presume his wingspan is over 7'2" these days?

Not sure whether that was with or without shoes... but I can tell you he's at least an inch and a half taller than Noel.. for whatever that's worth.
He seems to have no problem keeping weight/gaining muscle... great build.
Don't know his wingspan, but I'd say that's safe.
