Following potential 2014 draftees

Is Hakeem playing again? I mean...puh! But sure this class is overrated. I see three potential franchise players in Embiid, Wiggins and Parker right away and a ton of players who have really potential to be special. The tourney wil be awesome!

let's stop insulting hakeem.

embiid is nowhere near hakeem in terms of talent, athleticism, and a skill level. not even close.

if anthony davis came out this year - every GMs woud've picked davis over embiid. every single one of them.

I just watched the highlights of Embiid: Man thats impressive, especially his passing ability is great. He could dominate on both sides, very impressed...and he has a lot more potential. Potentially highest ceiling of this year.

If A. Davis continues to develop his game, he will be a "megastar" and the face (or the brow :D) of the NBA next to Durant (after LBJ gets older). Dude is absolutely fantastic.

Yes he is.

Revelation day:
I somehow realized that it's pointless to worry about fits for the Jazz before the lottery took place. You know the pick range, you can start talking fits. Right now it's simply hope and despair shaking each others hand on a daily basis.
So I won't undergo whom do I want on the Jazz until that lottery thing is over. When it's time to draft I'll have seen the course of the season, the players don't play no more other than work with their individual coaches and play for the teams they are presenting themselves in front of.
I'll solely focus on players development regardless of fit.

Well I do. But I get tired of flip flopping. I prefer embracing the talent and watching them develop over caring if the Jazz now finally release Corbin and install an AC as interim. Or that Lindsey getts a trade done.
If he getts that trade done, then I'm interested in thinking about the consequences. But thinking about the consequences of no trade is a little bit disappointing. And I don't want basketball to be disappointing.

This is rookie Patrick Ewing, basically a comparison to Embiid's current level of athleticism. Although, Ewing could really jump.

Here's Embiid...

Honestly love Embiid, and right now I have 1. Wiggins 2. Embiid 3. Randle 4. Parker. I'm not sure Parker has that much upside. Where-as I see Wiggins being a better pro then college player, I see Parker as a better college player then as a pro player. I'm not sure he has the athletic ability to affectively guard 3's or 4's. I'm afraid his tools on both end of the court are limited somewhat at the NBA level. In my mind Randle looks like he'd fit in great with Favors. Favors being the offensive stopper and low post threat on offense. The strides he's made in his post offense gives me confidence he'll be an Allstar, and Randle can be on the perimeter, doing a little of everything. Embiid and Wiggins are just on another plain as far as potential goes, you just can't pass on that. Both have potential to be all time greats if they put it all together

I agree with this.
