If the Jazz trade Jefferson and Marvin, they would just play Kanter, Burks and Evans more minutes. I think they have enough talent to still win games. They aren't going to win 70 percent of their games, but probably almost as much as they do now. They will still beat most of the bad teams in the league, and a few of the good teams at home. I think trading both of them will net 4-5 more losses max, and trading one of them would be maybe 2-3 losses.
 
Wiggins 1-5 for 3 points. An absolute non-factor today. Embiid is in the driver's seat for #1 overall and only enhanced that position today.

For Marcus Smart, today's game was the perfect synopsis of why he is such an enigma as a draft prospect. slc said above that he is big, strong, nasty - he's all over the court, great athlete, gets to the rim and draws fouls (10 FT attempts), defends, finished with 16, 10, 9 and 4 - just sick all-around numbers, but...was 3-14 shooting the ball - ouch. Sheesh.

At the end of the this Saturday of hoops, I still think Randle is the best player in the draft - he's the one guy teams have to game plan to stop, the one guy who gets double and triple teamed (and still produces), the one guy, who if they don't double and triple team, can't be contained. Having said that, it would be hard to pass on Embiid if I had the #1 overall.

He could play with trey in the backcourt. He is tied for 5th on my board with Exum. I really like smarts attitude. As you said he is just nasty.
 
If Smart is still available at #8-10 which I don't think he will be Jazz should take him.
Warrior attitude. Relentless. Underrated athlete.
Those kind of players work on their game and make themselves better.
Find a way to get him on the court.

I couldn't watch the second half (cause my DVR hates me), but it looks like Wiggins had his most disappointing game to date.

I really wish I could have seen all 8 of Embiid's dunks. He really might be the next great center.

On another note, I'd be good with Smart. He's underrated on this board.
 
Wiggins could miss every shot for the rest of the season and I'd still take him 1st

Embiid sure blocked a lot of shots yesterday. It is clear that my distaste for Smart's behavior have made me a biased assessor of talent.

This lineup would suck more defensively than the Tankers. That's a 3 or 4 seed. Nuttin more.

Nope. This is a team that on that Durant drops 40 points shooting 65% from the field every single time, because they have no defense other than Favors.
It's awfully similar to the Rockets for example.
