Maybe that's where we differ.

I'm more concerned about the Jazz defense, you seemed to be concerned about the offense.

my concern at 23 is really just trying to find a steal and a good player that will help, i dont see any quick fixes for the Jazz defensive problems in this draft.

im just not convinced pick 23 is where you need to pay a premium for perimeter defense either, Last year Mason Plumlee would have been on the board at 21 had we kept the pick. that'd have been a dream scenario for many of us in the draft thread and seemed very unlikely, I'm kind of expecting a good player rated in the teens to fall in our laps similarly.

id rather have Damien Inglis at 35 then McDaniels at 23

Of you could choose between Warren and McDaniels, who are you taking?

I don't know enough about either but what I do know is I would take Warren. McDaniels measurements (can he play the SF) would be the determining factor. However, I would love to see them workout together. Another guy I like is Inglis, I know he is projected #35 but I would be ok reaching a tad because I think he is going to be a steal down the line.

PGAB agrees with everything you just said.

i think McDaniels weighing in at 196 lbs hurts his chances with the Jazz

yup. at 35 the risk/reward is just better, you can stash Inglis, hes 2 years younger, and can handle better

Guys, really worried about jabaris ability to hit threes, you know, because of his heritage and stuff. Its pretty well documented by anthropology that Tongans can't shoot from downtown.

Plus if you haven't heard he's mormon and jimmer is mormon so Jabari ain't fine be good at all.

Jabari's workout video...dayum

The only thing bad about that video is now I am sure that Parker won't be available when the Jazz pick and the likelihood of him being available in a trade just went out the window. He looks really good and all those false rumors about him gaining weight have been proven wrong. The kid looks like he has been working hard.

I'm fine with the Favors/Vonleh 2-headed monster. I think that could work, in part because Vonleh is quicker than Kanter.

We might be able to trade Kanter to the Celtics and take Vonleh and Smart back-to-back.
