Following potential 2014 draftees

I want UK to have a monster year so all their players shoot up the draft board. actually undefeated would be nice.

So basically you want Harrison and Randle to climb the rankings so hard that you have a higher chance at Parker later in the draft.
Are most of these kids surefire franchise player or do they "just" have the potential to become one day?

Nobody is ever a surefire franchise player.

With that said, Wiggins, Harrison, Randle, Parker...they all have a very good shot at being franchise type players, or at the very least, multi-time all-stars.

Wiggins has the highest ceiling, also the lowest floor. Parker probably has the lowest ceiling, but the highest floor. I haven't seen enough of Harrison to really comment on him, plus you didn't specify which one, and Randle can be a beast if you convince him that his best game is down low and not roaming the perimeter.

Wanna hear a shocker?

If I'm the Utah Jazz and I have the #1 pick...I don't take Wiggins.

Don't get me wrong, Wiggins is a great, great talent. Much more athletic than Parker....and that's it. I prefer players with a complete game and the ability to get it done, even when the refs aren't calling fouls.

So yeah, I'll go into more detail later, but as of right now, Parker is who I take #1 if I'm the Utah Jazz.

I have Wiggins, Randle, and Parker all very close right now. Need to see how they play their freshman years before I solidify where I would rank them.
Wiggins gets the nod right now because he's incredibly young, truly ELITE athlete, and a great scorer AND defender. He'll be tough to edge out.
Parker is so skilled and polished, especially for his size.. and very smart.

It's really all about what type of players you prefer, and like you said, we have to see them play first. Should be a really exciting college season.

Oh..
and Randle because of his size, strength, handles, shot, and WORK ETHIC/motor.

Those are three VERY good ones.

I wish randle could play the 3 ala lebron James.

He may. He is quicker, has better handles, and is a better shot than Terrence Jones, by far.

I think he could play both positions similar to Parker.. with an edge to Parker's perimeter skills.

I've watched all these guys so much over the last couple years that I think I have taken them for granted a little bit.

I've been watching some vids the last hour and I take back what I said several posts back about the three being very close...

It's Wiggins.. he really is the 'NEXT.'

Watch the vid, RANDLE vs. WIGGINS. Notice how freakishly fast Wiggins is (not mention the eye-popping athleticism) for 6'8.
