I kinda want Wiggins to go to the Raptors, and Jabari to fall to us. That's my dream draft right there. I'll have more fun winning a championship when no one expects us to-- as opposed to always having targets on our back a la Cleveland with Lebron for his 7 seasons there. Plus, Wiggins will be in another conference, and as a Canadian I don't want Canada basketball to always be the laughing stock of the league.

I can just imagine the "the lottery is rigged!" conspiracies if Wiggins went to Toronto and Jabari to Utah.
But yeah, I get what you mean about how it would be more fun to win a championship as a dark horse than as the team to beat.
Because there are plenty of poor prognosticators. The word got out that he was a pedestrian athlete and it hurt his mock draft stock... but he is a sutficient athlete with elite skill and bbIQ.
Jabari isn't an elite athlete by any means, but I feel like his lack of athleticism has been blown way out of proportion.
Jazz are my team 110%. Im just more of a romantic basketball-fan, and have preferences as to HOW we win a championship one day. There's nothing wrong with that.
The only reason I have Wiggins going to the Raptors (ahead of any other team) is because I want there to be Canadian representation in the NBA always-- and the match between Wiggins and that franchise just makes sense for all parties. Wiggins could save Canada basketball.
Canadian basketball has never been stronger. Look at all the young guys who are Canadian. Wiggins going to Toronto would be great for the Raptors but it would also be tough on the kid. That is a lot of pressure to put on a 19 year old kid.
I never once said I don't like him. I just don't think he's a lottery guy in this class.
At 6'4 the guy needs to be a very good athlete and have very good handles.. he has neither, appreciably.
He's not great with his mid-range game and just overall a fairly polished one-dimensional player.
Jodie Meeks.

That'll make 30 players.. twice as many as any other college team. Dominating the moral victory column.
Oh c'mon... living Canada can't be THAT bad with all the frequent road games to America.

Hezonja had apparently his first strong game in the Spanish league. 8 points 11 rebounds vs Manresa(currently 2 wins 1 loss) in 22 mins of time. He was 3/4 from 2 and 0/3 from 3, while staying perfect from the free throw line. While on the court his team went +17, the highest score difference that night. In that link his baskets are included.
I would prefer my SG to be a great shooter so I give you that.. but its kind of trading one uno-dimensional player for another..
