I'll give a more thorough update when its over ..

Young is showing unlimited range, driving, handles, rebounding, and defense. Around 12/6 at halftime.. but just looks like he can take over.

Julius Randle is a beast as advertised.

WCS looks like he's going to be huge this year.

WCS is the most intriguing to me. If he can play well this year, it just adds another elite player in the top ten of the draft.

I don't want to hear that. First Coach C spouting off on how good Young is and now you are making ridiculous claims he is the best player on the team. Please just stop it. How about a few Young is overrated or has a bad attitude.
 
Haha.. I'm actually trying to be careful not to oveehype him. He looks like a FANTASTIC college player... but still doubtful, in my eyes, as tk a pro player... tbh.
 
Something I really like about Randle..

CALIPARI gets on the players really hard. On one play Cal got in Randles face/chest and yelled at him to NEVER take a playoff, to NEVER take a second off. "If you want to be the best bb player in the country.."

Randle simply said "YESSIR!" And immediately went in and dribbled the length of the court and slammed it from the FT line on Willie Cauley-Stein... sending him sailing into fans behind the basket.
 
Something I've been hearing (and sharing here) is to watch out for Aaron Harrison. He has all the PG skills but plays SG because he's lights out shooter.

Last night Andrew's calves locked up and Aaron replaced him at PG moving Young to SG.
Aaron played with total maturity and made the right pass every time.. and was also 3/3 from 3 during that stretch.
Will be interesting watching his draft stock.

As a SG he's probably worth 19-21 pick. As a PG/combo I can see him 14-15.
 
I'll say this about Kentucky this year. The depth of talent is scary. Not weak at any position, at all.
Guys like the Harrison's and Randle are NO nonsense and are assassins... they want to rip throats out and just destroy the other team.

I'm not calling it or anything, but this team has a legit ability to be the first team ever to go 40 - 0.
If/when they get beat it will only be because they all had an epic bad night, collectively.

Hopefully they don't have any scheduled games agains Robert Morris
