Following potential 2014 draftees

As far as PG skills go I think Exum is somewhere in between MCW and Burks. Is that good enough to play PG full time? Tough question. Physically he is a near clone to MCW. Same height, same lanky build, same athleticism. Exum even has a 2" wingspan advantage! Watching MCW play, even though he is not a great shooter, it is a huge advantage he can get his shot off against any opposing PG. Exum would enjoy the same benefits. To illustrate my point, Burke is a better shooter than MCW, but if we have to run a screen 3 times for him to get daylight you are throwing in turnover variables which could really hurt his overall impact.

In 3 NBA games MCW is a 47% 3pt shooter. I wouldn't say he's a worth shooter until Burke proves with number he's equally capable of putting it in. MCW's number will probably shrink once teams actually realize it's only FO that tries to tank and they prepare for them. Which should be right now. But I don't know, that's a lot of laurels up front for Burke who hasn't showed his shooting skills.

I think Exum would be a perfect first option for the Jazz. His shot is slowly expanding if you compare his performances in the last couple years. he's not particularly successful at the line and beyond the arc, but he's developed a confidence shooting it which points to the work he's apparently putting in that area.
Look at Exum in the middle of Burke and Hayward. Only downside is that Burke isn't really a good defender. If he was that would make him more valuable playing off the ball on offense.
Exum will rule the SG spot from his 2nd year on. He's got a lot of Harden and Rose in him. Harden in a way that he's really smart creating contact and Rose in a way that he's able to finish through the contact. In international competitions opposite teams guard him with their most capable defender and that's mostly their most athletic wing.
Just think about having 2 good catch and shoot guys next to Exum and a PnR/PnP threat in Kanter. That would give opposite coaches headaches that can't be cured by Aspirin.

This immediately made me think of CJ Miles. :)

So CJ Miles has a devastating drive to the basket? Didn't know that. Exum shot 17/51(5.7 attempts per game) 3s from the slightly shorter FIBA line in the U19 WC in Prague this summer. He hit free throws with 60.9% accuracy, attempting 7 per game. Especially late in the game when tired he missed a lot of free throws. So while I don't think he's Steph Curry shooting wise, CJ Miles might be a little insulting.
CJ Miles btw is a 34.2% career 3 point shooter and he converted 38.4% last season on 5 attempts per game. Also a 80% career free throw shooter. #checkforAlzheimer
In these youth competitions it's less about money than player development. Same goes for NCAA for my taste as a spectator. I don't care too much about what the result is, as long as the game is close and both teams play hard. And if a young guy shoots without too much success but attempts, that means he's either ridiculously dumb, his coach bad at getting to him or he has practiced his shot a lot and now wants to get comfortable using it in game situations. With what I've seen from Exum and especially heard in interviews(He also stated that he wanted to play professional basketball in Australia when he reaches adult age back when he was 15, but boi he's a predator on the court @ all the Jabari Parker hobby psycho analysts)
So I'm apparently really high on Exum and would want him on my team. And I think he's a very good fit for the Jazz. If he was on the team I'd want Lindsey to trade Burke for Avery Bradley if he can finally expand his game a little, but <3 his defense!

The bolded part only, BTP. Sorry you wrote that whole thing for a lack of understanding that it was a joke based on the bolded part only.

Not really sorry.

Is Chris Walker definitely out the whole year or is it possible he can return? hes intrigues me as a prospect hes very raw but he has some freakish physical gifts

It is possible for him to return next semester if he got his grades up.

He is immensely talented but he is one of the least high character guys I have seen in the last several years.. unless he's changed A LOT. Doubt the Jazz would give him a look, honestly. Guarantee you the Spurs wouldn't.

With that much talent somebody will..I was intrigued at first by his teammate Kasey hill when i first saw his youtube higlights it looked like he had crazy explosiveness maybe a tier lower then the Roses and Westbrooks then i saw alot of his games on espnu last year and was underwhelmed..

I still can't get past the whole having neck tats of lips all over his neck. What a mf'n douche.
His tweeting has been a complete embarrassment as well.
Bad grades..
The list is quite long actually.

They have unsigned first draft pick rights and since he's coming off the rookie scale next summer they can simply sign him like if they had bird rights if I'm not mistaken. Didn't check cbafaq. I doubt though that they would trade Mirotic for anything less than a top 10 pick.

They will need to use the full midlevel exception to sign him. Apparenlty about the only way to do that is to amnesty Boozer. If he were in last years draft and if it was known he would come over i think he would probably have gone #1.

He reminds me sooooooo much of Darius Miles
