TRob: can't dominate inside against pros, can't really do anything away from the hoop. It makes him more of a designated post defender.
I watched the whole second half of the Kentucky game and the entire KU, Duke game.
Thoughts...
Randle
Wow!!! That dude is a beast!! He's the Pitbull of basketball. So aggressive!! Loved that he put the team on his back and almost brought them back. I wish Favors would play with this kind of mean streak. Amazing at finishing at the rim. Reminds me a little of Malone. Love the fact that he lived at the line. Hope he's a better ft shooter then he looked last night. Sorry kkk, not a sf in the nba, too many turnovers (7)
Wiggins
Probably has the most upside of any of the three, and probably the least ready of the three to step onto the nba scene right now. But if the draft were today I'd take him with the #1 pick. Why? From what I saw he's as athletic as they come, and that athletic ability allowed him to finish in the lane a few times with contact. The scary thing for me with Wiggins is, as he gets stronger, and his body fills out some more, he will get faster and more explosive, and in a couple years who is going to be able to guard this dude. I see him rising above both Parker and Randle. I was also impressed with his defense and ability to get into the passing lane. He's not the shooter that Parker is but think he's also much better at this point then LBJ was coming into the nba. What concerns me is he seems to wear his emotions on his sleeve way too much, it affected him in the middle of the game a little, but he seemed to work through it, making play after play in the clutch.
Parker
This dude is a cross between Paul Pierce andGrant Hill. So smooth, and deadly assassin from deep, and shot creator like Pierce, also add strength in the lane. Looks like a guy you can run the offense through. Thought he had that it factor, and would be the type of leader the jazz need. If we draft Parker, I would advocate trading Hayward, as they are similar styles, but Parker will be much better. All I've heard the past week or two is that he's not hungry and his desire is not all there. Wrong!! He's hungry poised and looks like a basketball junky.

I agree with your breakdown of the players, but I think Hayward with Parker would be a deadly combination. Having Burke, Hayward, Parker, Kanter, and Favors would be a difficult lineup to defend because of the ability to space the floor. Yes, Parker and Hayward are somewhat similar, but it's because they are both very well-rounded. They aren't specialists in the same area of the game.
With Wiggins it won't matter as much who's playing with him imo because he will live at the free throw line and be more unguardable than Parker
Actually putting on weight/muscles doesn't do that. He'll probably also lose some mobility/nimbleness. He just has to preserve enough to efficiently guard 2s. But he'll gain the opportunity to take players into the post and gain better overall balance on his body. Imagine Wiggins doing a Euro Step...
I'd also take the gamble on Wiggins for the reason that the difference between his floor and Parker/Randle's avg is smaller than his ceiling compared to both other's ceilings.

Agree, but we've already paid Favors, and we probably want to pay Kanter, and there's a good chance Parker will demand a max deal, then there's also Burks and Burke if he ends up being serviceable as a starter.
Doesn't really matter. By the time Parker is off his rookie contract, Favors' and Hayward's contacts will expire. It's amazing how well that worked out.

But explosion would be through the roof.
I've seen many players add weight/muscle and not lose their athleticism.
All depends on how they add it and their body types. Don't make blanket statements.
Athleticism is a very vague statement. I said mobility/nimbleness. But you're obviously stronger in situations when you put a lot of force on the floor. For SGs I feel mobility is very important. But for Wiggins to be the ultimate mismatch on these 6'5 and smaller SGs and force opponents to rotate hard he's got to get stronger and balance his back to the basket game with an improving perimeter game.
Again, I've seen plenty of people gain weight/strength and not lose mobility or nimbleness. Kobe Bryant is an excellent example.
It all depends on body types and how they put the weight on.
Tbh Kobe is neither spectecularly nimble, nor athletic. But he's strong for his position. He's basically a euroballer with a black body. Technically very skilled. Out of this world footwork, great understanding of the game. He just makes it look easy. I think Parker could be similar in some ways maybe -> Bodycontrol, timing, fundamental skills.
Especially Parker's timing has really impressed me. He doesn't possess too much athleticism but he uses literally 110% of it while doing the right play at the right time.

Umm...do you remember when Kobe first played? He was very nimble and athletic. The guy is old and hardly has any knees, of course he isn't as athletic today. When he first came into the league at 18, he was a scrawny player. When he was ~24-25, he was quite a bit larger, but just as if not more athletic than he was. That's what happens when you have these young guys that are still growing into their bodies. Hell, Gordon Hayward is just as athletic/nimble/whatever other word you wanna use as when he came into the league, and he's definitely larger.
lmao
When did you start following the NBA?
ps eurballer with a black body lmao again
Good point.
