There guards are better then i thought..If Johnson and York continue to play like this there gonna be tough to beat Mconnels fun to watch too unselfish player

Calipari wants Randle to show hard, flashing through the free throw line area and drawing bigs away from the basket to leave WCS/Johnson open. If the bigs don't help, Randle can hit the FT line jumper all day. It makes the defense crazy with Andrew able to hit at the top from deep, Aaron on one wing, Young on the other, Randle moving strong about 15' out.. and a 7 footer under the basket.

Randle doesn't sulk AT ALL.. he never 'wants his' ... he just wants to win. If he's showing body language it's just a team thing and wanting the team to get crisper.

Agree.. I am curious to see if the backcourt can keep up the momentum.

I can see that, but does he have to move to the strong side directly in between the ball handler and the basket to do that? It only really bothered me about 5 mins into the 2nd half, he seemed to be chasing the ball around the perimeter. Calipari called a time out right after my post and I didn't see it any more.

I didn't notice tbh.. maybe JR was doing it wrong and Cal corrected, I dunno. I am really just stating that Randle DOES NOT do anything selfishly, at all. He has some downsides but that is not one.

I didn't really think he was selfish because he got the ball and passed it to the weak side corner. It just looked strange. Almost like a decoy.

That's kind... and not too far off.

I hated last year's crop.. hated it. Loved this year's draft going on 3 years... kinda like how I've been pimpin '17 for almost a year already.
 
I like the Joel Embiid kid, trade to get another top 10 pick. Draft Jabari with our pick #1 and the Embiid kid with that 2nd top 10 pick, him and Favors down low would be sick, and he and Favors have enough raw talent that they will produce offensively but defensively those two would be scary good!
