Following potential 2014 draftees

I might take Embiid over Parker, if Embiid keeps developing. I really really like Parker, but Paul Pierce didn't win without KG.

All of a sudden the 4th pick not looking all that bad.

I love Andrews potential. Part of me wants the jazz to draft Embiid and trade Kanter and gs to get Harrison. Embiid and Favors front line would be scary good and unfair to the rest of the league. I'm not sold on Burke as our starting pg. love Andrews size and potential.

Harrison
Burks
Hayward
Favors
Embiid

That looks like a scary good lineup in a couple years. Thoughts...

At the same time though. Remember I said part of me wants to trade Kanter, not all of me:)

I'd sell my soul if this could happen.

Burks ain't an NBA starter brah.

I haven't watched much college bball this year.... how are the 'tweener' concerns looking re: Jabari? See: Derrick Williams, Beasley, Anthony Bennett

The Tweener label doesn't apply to guys with ample perimeter skils--e.g., Carmelo, Lamar Odom, Danny Manning, etc. Parker can play on the perimeter all day. He's got plenty of shooting, passing, handling, slashing and body control.

The issue is more with guys that look like power players at the college level, but who can't play that way efficiently against the size and speed of NBA players.

It would be funny if the Jazz picks ANOTHER big when we already have Favors (3rd pick), Kanter (3rd pick), as well as Gobert and Evans.

He will be a better offensive player, both scoring and assists (passing out of the post). Defensively, I'll say the same. I would like to see more, but every time Kansas plays they are on Espn3.

Wow.. if he's the same defensively and better offensively than Hibbert, then he's definitely worth a top 3 pick IMO.

Hibbert did have a great game offensively the other day. From what I've seen of Embiid he has soft hands around the rim, very athletic, but free throws are suspect (like every big man these days).

One thing I'd like to see is MaWilliams, Favors and Gobert together in longer stints on the floor. Gobert could be that defensive presence with Favors that the Jazz need.
