Following potential 2014 draftees

I'm really starting to like smart more and more.
Watching the game right now and he is obviously talented and putting up numbers, but what I really like is his demeanor(?).
Seems to have a great attitude and is really a great leader on the court

Two amazing things in the halftime boxscore.

1) Smart has 24 at halftime.
2) The TEAM has combined for only 4 assists (1 credited to Smart).

WOW.. what a tale of two halves.

Smart with 24 in the first half but only 2 through the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half.
Also, OKst outscored Purdue 52 - 29 in half #1 and thus far in the 2nd half Purdue has outscored OKst 44 - 27 and have cut a 23 point halftime deficit to only 6 points with 5:00 to play.

Wow.. are you surprised at Smart's inconsistencies?!?!

Not sure if trolling~

Am I way off thinking Smart is a better college player then pro?

I just don't think he'll be athletic enough to finish off those drives of his in the pros. Plus his shooting is still very inconsistent. Isn't a natural passer.

I wouldn't pick him, unless he was the #10 pick.

I think this is about right.... I think he is like a mix of bledsoe and tyreke..... and neither of them are very good/willing passers either when playing the point

In today's NBA pass first PGs are officially gone as soon as Nash retires. It's just how it developed. You have sets where you know where the wing guys are and you more often than not want your PG to create by being a threat to score himself. YOu'd need to adapt rules to make that viable again IMO

Mostly agree.
Dat cp3 and rondo doe

Oh I forgot Rondo maybe(Never watched too much Rondo)
Cp3 basically creates most of it by being a threat. He doesn't do these miracle incredibru passes that Nash and Kidd make

Don't make a silly assertion just to dig in on an erroneous point.

Serious question, are we EVER going to get to see Jabari guard someone on the perimeter this season?

I think he gets exposed a little there. He's obviously MUCH better suited to guard college PF's than college SF's... and he'll be a bit (not a lot) of a defensive liability in the pros.
