Following potential 2014 draftees

There's been someone on this board hyping him for a while.... are you saying that person is way wrong? How, then, can I go on trusting this person?

Thx for teh help.

Who is this person that you are referring to?

Right now I would move Embiid up into the top 3.

1. Parker (just love the way he plays, can get a shot from anywhere on the court)
2. Wiggins (I haven't seen enough of him, so it's tough for me to put him above Parker, but its close)
3. Embiid (I don't know why him and Favors wouldn't work together, too much defense?)
4. Exum (Don't love having Hayward at the 3, but I think he would be fine there with Burke and Exum at guard)
5. Randle (Don't think he fits really well with Favors or Kanter, but it wouldn't be bad. For another team I might have him at 3)
6. Smart (He would be higher if Burke wasn't doing so well. But I think he would fit pretty well with Burke and Hayward. This makes Burks expendable though)
7. Gordon (Based off potential only. Hasn't stood out at Arizona, how long would it take him to stand out in the NBA?)

After that it gets pretty messy

He's definitely pushing the top 2 of the draft. I wonder if we get the #3 pick, and Parker/Wiggins are off the board if we consider moving drafting Embiid, and moving Favors. I like Derrick a lot, but I just don't see DFav and Embiid working well tonight. Kanter and Embiid is theory seems better.

Didn't you hear? The Jazz are trading Kanter, so your whole idea won't work.

He won't enter this draft, but next year Quinn Cook could be an interesting PG prospect.

I see him somewhere between Trey Burke and Shane Larkin.

I'm only seeing 6 players that are as good as that. I really think Gordon is a bit over-rated. I would be ecstatic with any of the other six, but view Gordon as a 10-15th pick talent which would be a huge disappointment when we started such an impressive tank.

I agree. I would also be a little disappointed if the Jazz got Smart too. I know he has been playing well but now that Burke has shown he has very good potential I think Smart isn't necessary. Besides I have my doubts he is a true PG. I love his toughness, defense and his shot has improved but I am concerned about his size at the SG.

I would be overjoyed with Parker or Wiggins.
I would be excited for Exum or Embiid.
I would be excited for Randle but a little disappointed.

I want the Jazz to get a player who if needed can get us the dagger shot or jump shot. I think Parker, Wiggins or Exum can do that from the perimeter. I have my doubts with the other guys. I love Embiid if the Jazz could get another top 5 pick or trade one of their bigs.

but your definition of brave is to just say whatever the **** you want, without any self-awareness of when you might be out of your depth. Just blah troll blah troll blah troll.

I never saw much in GRIII.

I've stuck my neck out numerous times on this board, MCW is a good example. Nobody except Sexual_Flavors thought he was gonna be decent, but I just knew his skills & athleticism would translate.

And if you're gonna say "OH you said that about EVERY PLAYER in the draft". Out of last year's lottery - I only said Burke, MCW and Adams would be good/great. The rest, Zeller, Len, Bazz, McLemore, Bennett, etc, etc, I didn't care for at all.
