Following potential 2014 draftees

LSU's defense on Randle was what caught my eye, 3 for 11 then 3 for 9 in overtime. 2015 Draftee Jordan Mickey has some nice potential on D
 
stauskas with a bad game. misses 2 critical layups in the OT. it was contested, but last one he missed wasn't even close. big dawg's puppy with a good game. that kid has tremendous potential, but he needs to stay 1 more year.

Yeah, Randle doesn't have a size mismatch vs. Johnny O like he does vs. most SEC bigs.

Randle is a player who exploits mismatches and struggles against higher level talent.

Gordon going to be one of the 5 best players in the draft. If we get him, I would consider it a success. Pretty much can only do better than Gordon by getting in the top 3, which would be impossible even if we went all out tank.

I'm with ya. I like him, we just need to reset our expectations. We are picking 9-11 so we need to hope he falls.
 
At this point, I'd be elated with Gordon or Vonleh. Either guy is so much more than the Jazz deserve after they've gone and crapped the tank all up. They're better (talent-wise) than 6/7 and should feel fortunate that they're even in the conversation to add a prospect of that caliber.

Best hope is getting lucky in the lottery, and/or having the Warriors fall off the map to give the Jazz two lottery picks.

Agreed, they're the only two players keeping me sane at this point. Unfortunately three new tanking threats have emerged. NY from flat out sucktitude. The Pelicans have lost 5 in a row and Davis just went down with a shoulder injury. Detroit only has 23 wins as well and lost 3 straight, will soon be sitting players I think.

This would be the sane, rational thing to do. Means for whatever stupid reason we won't.
 
Really had my heart set on Stauskas even when we were 1-19 and looking to get Wiggins, tbh.

Y'all just on Stauskus' dick cuz he's white. Dude can shoot but he has no D. Nothin but an off the bench player.

The guy who you guys really need to be focusing on is Michael Frazier. Dude is gonna be a prolific shooter. and he's hella good on D. 6'4" 6'9" wingspan. shooting 42.3% on the year. 46.8% last year. Models his game after Ray Allen. One of the hardest workers in college basketball.
