Arizona is the best defensive team in college and has NBA level athleticism and size, and KA is still able to score.

I think he will be a better pro than people think.
 
If we can't get Wiggins/Parker/Embiid, I will be super pissed if we don't get at least one of this group:

Aaron Gordon
Nik Stauskus

It is a huge concern, but he is so damn good defensively.

Him and Micky D (coining that extremely lame nickname) are kind of complete opposites.

I can 100% understand being scared ****less of taking Gordon, but if you watch him, you can tell just tell he has a lot of natural basketball IQ and ability. His shot doesn't look that bad (but clearly it is). I'd rather take the risk on Gordon personally.
 
Also, slightly interesting side note, tomorrow Payton will play Ryan Harrow (Georgia State). Harrow was a former top recruit who played for NC-State, then transferred to UK, then transferred to Georgia State.

Somehow San Antonio will trade up and get Gordon and he'll shoot 37% on threes next year with a respectable 70% from the line.
 
Does aaron gordons game compare to MKG at all? (Both poor shooters and excellent defensers)

Ya. I will take a guy with good form who cant shoot over a guy with ugly *** form on his shot. Im always amazed that marion can actually shoot.
Probably the all time ugliest effective shot

IDK about that. His shot is weird, but it's repeatable and not to many moving parts.

Look at MKG's shot. Everything is going in a different direction, things are twisting around. Much uglier in my eyes than Marion's.

Thats whats amazing about marion. Ugly shot, but effective
 
Bryon Russell couldn't shoot AT ALL when he came into the league out of Long Beach State. He learned to shoot eventually, but it took BR 2 or 3 years to get playing time. He was end of the bench his first 2 years.

Aaron Gordon is going to have to fix his shooting or he won't get playing time.
