Following potential 2014 draftees

Bryon Russell couldn't shoot AT ALL when he came into the league out of Long Beach State. He learned to shoot eventually, but it took BR 2 or 3 years to get playing time. He was end of the bench his first 2 years.

Aaron Gordon is going to have to fix his shooting or he won't get playing time.

If he ups his strength by 10 lbs, he can easily play PF given his current shooting ability. Won't be able to play crunch time, but he could play the other 42 minutes.

Everyone should turn on the Creighton game. Got a feeling they will close the gap and will be an exciting ending.

I would be comfortable taking Kyle Anderson with the GS pick. I'd rather have a versatile perimeter player who can really use space and play than a better athlete like Harrison Barnes who can only spot up and straight-line drive. You look at how effective Shaun Livingston has been for the Nets this season and you have to think Kyle Anderson could be great off the bench as a swing man.

I like Anderson too with the GS pick. What about the Adams kid at UCLA? Is he an NBA player? The guy who has nose-dived is LaVine. I don't think he is ready for the NBA even though he got a lot of hype early on. He hasn't really done much lately. I hope the Jazz keep both picks because I still think there are some decent players all through the 1st round and early second. There are plenty underrated players drafted mid to late 1st round.

LaVine isn't NBA ready at all. He would be a project. I would be willing to take him w/ the GS pick. If I was advising him though, I'd tell him to stay in school.

I tend to agree with Cy on KA.

I didn't see the game, but Arizona is so athletic and good on defense.... But Anderson still dominated.

I'm gonna start watching ucla just to see him and get a better idea if I think his game will translate.

I really like the idea of getting him with the gs pick at this point.
