Following potential 2014 draftees

Good post. He flashes some pretty good defensive potential. As this steal and block in his last game show.

Flashes defensive potential? He oozes it. The flashes are the play-making abilities you see from him time to time.

Damn right I am. Favor/Gordon will be one of the most undersized front-court in the history of the NBA.

If we do draft Gordon, he's playing the 3.

6'11 center and a 6'9 PF become one of the most undersized front-courts in NBA history.

Hyperbole much?

I'd be fine with Gordon, but we better add a lot of shooters, too, and hope Trey takes a big step forward. Our offense is already troubled, and Gordon is even a step back from RJ.

And, something tells me that our defense would still look like ****.... unless we get a new coach.

New coach is a guarantee.

If we miss out on wiggins and Parker I hope we have a chance to choose between Smart and Gordon. Two players you loathe for no apparent reason. Both will be very good, though I still think smart screams star.

Yeah, Arizona loses a ton of games cuz he sucks so much.

Is this really supposed to be a rebuttal?

Because utah is definitely the same team as Arizona. The college game is exactly like the nba game. And his lack of a range and horrific free throw shooting should be ignored.

It's amazing how some people on this board pick out their boys and cheer lead them to no end.

@Cy,

When you rep Gordon, are you repping him as our PF?

Yes. Not saying I want to give up Kanter either to make room for him. I would play him off the bench in the Evans role, but with more minutes. Would let him experiment with pushing the ball off rebounds, shooting the corner 3, defending perimeter and post, etc.

He is the youngest freshman in college (turns 19 in September) highly unlikely he doesn't improve his shooting seeing as he doesn't have any major form flaws.

You are drafting potential, physical tools, mental tools, lock-down defensive ability, versatility, and incredible intangibles.
