Following potential 2014 draftees

Dat wiggins alley oop doe

To be fair, Marion was as jc transfer so was a jr. Not saying he is going to be Marion by any means, but he has similarities.

Definitely. To be clear, I wasn't necessarily disagreeing with you, mostly agreeing with you that he isn't the guy I want to end up with after a "tanking" season. Although the highlight reels would be fun.

was just about to post 'a poor mans marion'

after Marion's rookie year he had a 7 year stretch where he averaged 19.3 points, 10 rebounds, 1.4blocks and 1.9steals per on 34% shooting from downtown

partly because he played with nash in dantoni's offense. stat drops drastically for marion if he played under corbin. pace is slower, won't avg more than 36 min, and trey ain't nash yet.

anyway, i think Gordon has marion's athleticism and defensive intensity. gordon will be one of those active guys who can run up and down all game long. if gordon can develop his mid range game then i can see him producing near marion numbers(PER 36). but i see gordon being 15/7.5 type of guy. that's more realistic projection. but his intangibles won't show up in the stat sheet. he will be a defensive leader for this team. and i'm all for that

A 6'8" athletic freak defensive specialist who can't shoot or hit free-throws...basically sounds like a description of Dennis Rodman, before he focused on being a rebounding specialist and a total whack job.

wuggins 1-6 4pts.

wow. this is disturbing. still my #1, but man. this kinda crap game freaks me out. 6 attempts? that's even more disturbing than 1 fg made.

If KS goes down, the only player left In the top 7 would be Gordon. The only player that actually showed up in their elimination game was marcus smart. Just sayin.

Gordon showed up for his game, so did Randle (if you consider him top 7).

The Jazz have NBA talent at every position. What they need is a player who can go to work as a #1 option and score the ball. In this draft, that's Wiggins, Exum or Parker, with Embiid as a wildcard. I don't think there's anyone else who will make a big difference to the Jazz, although I haven't given up completely on Randle. They can pick up a shooter or defensive specialist later in the draft or via free agency.

he isn't getting the ball enough, but that's his problem. kobe, MJ, etc. true alpha dog gets their attempts regardless. i'm just worried about wiggins passive mentality.

ive seen people on other sites talk about Josh Huestis on stanford being draftable, hes got a 39" vertical, 7'1" wingspan, blocks shots plays d, can post up, make 3's and rebound

seems to be doing a good job vs Wiggins today

I would hope every NBA team has NBA talent at every position.
