What's new

Following potential 2014 draftees

Plus WCS 7'0 which would have been a lottery pick this year.

I had heard talk of picking WCS with the gs pick or even our 2nd rounder

If the twins come back....

McDonald's All-American's;

PG - Andrew Harrison 6'6
PG - Tyler Ulis 5'9
SG - Aaron Harrison 6'6
SG - Devin Booker 6'5
SF - Alex Poythress 6'8
PF - Trey Lyles 6'9
PF - Marcus Lee 6'10
C - Dakari Johnson (?) 6'10
C - Karl Towns 7'0

Plus WCS 7'0 which would have been a lottery pick this year.

Devin Booker to lead that team of scrubs tbh.

I will be pissed if the Jazz trade their picks for a veteran. If they are going to do that lets make a trade with Boston. Burke and Hayward + our second round pick for their first round pick and Avery Bradley. Jazz might have to take on a bad contract: Perhaps Bass. I know this deal can't be done until after the draft but Boston can draft who we want and then make the trade later.

Jazz draft Wiggins and Exum.

Starting lineup:

Exum
Bradley
Wiggins
Favors
Kanter

Bench:

Neto
Burks
23rd 1st round pick GS pick - Either a SF or a Stretch 4 - BPA
Gobert
Evans
Vet - Bass

I'd prolly go with Andrew + Aaron + random wing. Towns will start, as this would totally open up the game for Kentucky and the Harrison kid will finally get an opportunity to play some PnR/PnP with a skilled big and not face zone defense 24/7. Whoever the 2nd big is doesn't really matter. Even Marcus Lee would be a viable option.

I have NEVER seen WCS talked about any lower than about 18... and mostly 11/12.

You've been wrong about Parker before...

Nice.

i'd imagine its Poythress - WCS - Towns Jr.

at least thats what im hoping for

Poythress - Lyles - WCS would be a bit more traditional, im not sure how you sit Karl Towns though

Good take.

Right, because Boston is going to trade away a potential franchise player who they get on a rookie contract for two guys who couldn't shoot straight, and one who kills their cap. IINM, Boston has almost $50M in guaranteed contracts to 9 players not counting draft picks and other holds. Even IF they wanted to work some kind of trade for Gordon, it would take some other maneuvers (such as dealing Rondo) or throwing in assets besides Avery.

Instead of meeting with Coach K, Jabari should call Thomas S.
Jabari, you averaged 19 pts/per but Coach K still benched you at the end of games. Even as a #2 or #3 pick, you'll make more over the life of your contract than you would by playing another year and perhaps being the #1 pick.

You have to roll the dice. You won't have a better chance than this of winding up in LA, Boston or Utah. Any one of those cities would be fantastic for you. Sure, you could go to Milwaukee, Philly or Orlando. But that's the chance you would take in any season. This is the best chance of landing on a team that is truly on the rise or will spend the dollars to do it.

Jazz need to draft Parker, trade for Casspi and then draft Alessandro Gentile in the 2nd round. Imagine the great jokes we could have: a Jew, a Gentile and a Mormon walk into a bar...

Enes Kanter has averaged over 15 pts and about 15 rebounds in the last 4 games where he's gotten starter's minutes. Yet, David Locke likes to bag on him for lack of defense and not helping the team win, when the team's obviously tanking. What's up with that?
