Following potential 2014 draftees

As of 4:15pm MST on 6/23/14 I'm now fully onboard with drafting Gordon at #5 if it plays out that Wiggo, Parker and Exum are off the board.

Embiid is still in play for me.

My reasons for Gordon over Vonleh, whom i've really liked thus far, are the fact that love the kids fire and confidence, I love his intangibles and defense and think that with even a mediocre jumpshot that he will be one of the best players in this draft.

I think Vonleh will have a slow rise to his eventual ceiling but that it will also be a top 10 career in this very deep draft when it's all said and done. AG's perimeter defensive potential is something you can point to from day 1 and say it will help this team. I could also, in short order, see him being the outspoken leader on the team.

*this is subject to change in the next 48 or so hours.......especially with Embiid*

we already have a passer Hayward, we need a strong SF i believe, who is both good defender and scorer, a poor mans lebron i would say. Well havent been really following basketball this year so i dnt know what to expect with the draft but i hope we wont get just an ok player, we need a good player. Trade one of the young assets we have if needed.

A lot of y'all have been asking, so here is my updated BIG BOARD for the 2014 NBA Draft:

1) Andrew Wiggins
2) Jabari Parker
3) Dante Exum
4) Aaron Gordon
5) Noah Vonleh
6) Joel Embiid
7) Marcus Smart
8) Julius Randle
9) Nik Stauskas
10) Kyle Anderson

£¥£

Sources close'ish to the situation reporting that Gordon might be overtaking Exum for dat #3 spot.

That is seriously the worst mock draft I have ever seen. It's as if it was done by a 13-year old. So much to make fun of including the fact Marcus Smart is at 12 and Payne is at 13 (Payne is cool but he's not going in the lottery).

I clicked on the 'Contact Us' form to tell the site to fire David Aldridge but it took me to a FAQ page that looked like a lot of work to sift through.

And Wiggins at 3 and Embiid at 7? Hell, no. If Embiid slides to 5 I will be surprised if we don't take him.

Sad news about Isiah Austin and the Marfan Syndrome....

Another example of why you should strike while the iron's hot and DECLARE FOR THE DRAFT.

Other examples include:

Marcus Smart (slipped from #2 to possibly #8)

Glen Robinson III (slipped from lottery to possibly 2nd round)

Mitch McGary (slipped from lottery to possibly 2nd round)

McAdoo (slipped from lottery to possibly 2nd round)
