Give it up already. Jazz are going to pass even Miami and end up at 12th. Just hope Phoenix doesn't flop bad enough that Jazz end up 13th. Don't waste your energy on anything else. Jazz are winning, thats a good thing. We had our tank year(s), now just cheer for the wins.

Oubre also got ticked off any time the former soldiers labeled anyone else as a “lion,” a primary leader, in any of the exercises. “I was like, that’s kind of BS,” Oubre says. "I don’t like when people underrate things I can do. I tried to work to be more of (a leader). Not a lot of people listen to the freshmen, but I had to make them listen.”

It might be just me, but I don't think DL will tolerate a rookie going around calling BS on guys next year.
 
I thought that was a decent article. What do you expect him to say? "I don't want to be a leader. I don't have confidence in my abilities. I think someone else should take the spotlight and more shots." Every player thinks highly of himself whether they express it or not.
 
I like Oubre. I think he's a guy whose game is better in the NBA than the NCAA, like Wiggins. After listening to the Walt Perrin interview, I'm not so sure the Jazz will draft him since he said they don't want anyone on the team who will mess up the team chemistry. Oubre seems like a dude who will speak his mind about anything, while everyone else is quiet and reserved. I'd be happy with him though.

Maybe, but all it takes is one injury to change things. In the meantime, drafting a couple spots higher could be the difference between getting another significant piece to the puzzle, or drafting a benchwarmer. The rebuild isn't over until we're back in the playoffs, so regardless of how the team has been playing, nothing wrong with hoping to draft the next piece, instead of just rooting for wins and crossing our fingers that the team will somehow build itself.

Yeah, Self basically said Oubre is the best leader on the team, even as a freshman.
