Following potential 2015 draftees

Doesn't really answer my question though. 1 play points to potential. Is he actually a top defensive player night in and night out?

I edited the post with a few more time codes. He's pretty consistent, at least was in that game.

I'd say he's above average defensively night in and night out, with the potential to be a great defender(tayshaun prince ish to me).
Winslow- very good night in and night out, but I don't think his defensive ceiling is quite as high.
Johnson- great defender, would probably be a bit more comfortable guarding 3's for the most part in the league.
Booker- average defender, has some tools to be slightly above average at some point.
Mario- I have no idea, wish I could catch his games on the tube :(

Out of all the wings I want in the draft Oubre is second after Hezonja. Booker is third.

The answer is no, not night in and night out. But over all he is far above 99% of true freshman as far as defense goes. He moves his feet really well and has super long arms. He's got Paul George size and is way further along at this point than PG was. If he's around at 10,11, 12 I feel pretty damn good taking him.

Looney has that sluggish athleticism like Favors, but I think hes pretty gifted physically. Notice that hes able to get to the hoop in the congested horribleness of college bball.

Watching Virginia vs FSU.

Justin Anderson 1st game back.

To bad this is not a football game. My Noles would rock. No Anderson so far.

The Rathan-Mayes kid might be one to look out for in the next couple of years. Needs to improve 3pt shooting for one thing. Scored 30 points in like 4 minutes a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, haven't watched much college ball outside of OSU all year.

Is Oubre actually a good defender, or is he just potentially a good defender?

It sounds like he sucked *** at everything to start the year, but has really turned it on... especially on the defensive end. I've seen him really active on the defensive end in videos and heard its the main reason he's been getting more consistent minutes.

I think he's a good defender already; it's not just potential. But I never have time to watch his games live, so I'm just going off of videos and articles.

But my spring break starts after my midterm today, and then it's time for some March Madness. So stoked.

That post entry pass is beautiful and it's the reason I think the Jazz will look hard at him if he falls where we're picking. The guy can shoot the 3, is unselfish and can make passes like that, he'll fit in our system.

Watching Stanley Johnson right now vs Cal.

Wow that guy is a dead ringer for Ron Artest. Really big and physical for his position. Never back down attitude. Plays with an edge. That shot is a bit shaky but he does what he can to score offensively.

Don't think he's a Jazz type guy, but if he falls to #12 I think we'd definitely grab him.
