Following potential 2015 draftees

He is a much better ball-handler than any of those guys too.

He has many rare and translatable skills... I'm willing to look past his defensive limitations.

We should draft stainbrook in the second round. He looks like every goofy big guy I've played against in rec league... It makes me happy.

Portis has more speed, more motor and probably better defense than Kaminsky. He's probably got at least as good a wingspan, though I don't see measurements for Kaminsky.

Portis' 3-pt percentage is also better (though he takes fewer attempts), his rebound average is higher, his points per 40 mins is slightly higher, his blocks per 40 mins is just a hair behind, and he's almost 2 years younger.

Kaminsky turns 22 next week.

He isn't nearly as good of a shooter as Kaminsky. Ignore %. He just isn't. Everything else though, Portis may be better. IDK, it would be a hard choice for me personally. Portis probably won't even come out this year though. I listened to his interview, sounds like he is going to come back to school.

Have you watched them play? There is a clear difference between the two. Also watch Portis' shot and tell me he's a better shooter. He shot a better percentage on 3s with about 25% of the attempts. Portis is a below average athlete as well. Not to mention passing. Portis is fine but I think he is a Jason Thompson type player at the next level.

Portis is a good passer and is definitely a better than average athlete for his size.

College refs are awful...

You are probably right. He was not good in the couple games I watched.

Jazz just waived Clark and Signed Chris Johnson to a non-guaranteed multi-year deal. Same with Jack Cooley and Bryce Cotton. I think it's getting pretty clear that we are going to make a trade this offseason. Will this include the pick?

I guess anything is possible. Burks + the non-guaranteed contracts would probably be enough, salary wise, to trade for a max contract player.
