Following potential 2015 draftees

Towns is the best shot blocker, rebounder, and passer of the group... while also being the only one that could theoretically become a threat from 3 at the NBA level.

Highest ceiling in the draft?

Yes.

Okafor is the surest thing and Towns is the highest ceiling.

Some highlights of the Texas/UK game. 2nd play shows a little of the range Towns has.. but mostly a WCS reel.

FWIW, Towns really stood out to me at the Nike Hoop Summit 2 years ago, the game with Wiggins, Jabari, Exum and Schroeder in it. Embiid was there too, but didn't have a big impact. Towns looked like a big-time prospect and I couldn't believe he was just about to be a HS senior.

Okay.. I really do try to not pimp UK players (not to say I don't discuss them a lot, cuz I do), but let me tell you what I really like about Towns.

I can just feel him busting at the seams. Most players that are very good have a feel of getting a little bit better, imo.. whereas Towns feels, to me, like he will get 10x better.

I think we will be selecting between 4 and 7.

Looking at those players, I hope some emerge.

Johnson or Winslow may be the best bet because we need defense and shooters (that are not defensive liabilities). All the offensive guys are pretty poor defenders.. so may as well take a guy that will defend and showing promise as a shooter.

Johnson or Winslow will play SF though, right? Are we moving Hayward back to the 2? I think our glaring problem now appears to be at the 4/5 in the starting line-up. I think our defense will be fine, quite good even, once we have Exum, Hood/Burks and Hayward on the perimeter. Hood and Hayward will be good shooters if they know their spots and don't try to do too much.

I like Towns, obviously. I still think Chris McCullough is a darkhorse. He'll be a 2-way player at the PF spot with physical specs just a notch down from Nerlens Noel. There's Porzingis too, but I'm not sold on his mobility yet.

Kanter might be an ideal 6th man.

So you want an reverse Paul George experiment.

I liked how Trey Lyles moves on offense and finds open space. That's an NBA talent ;)
Honestly don't know how good he is but what he showed in the minutes I watched vs Texas was kinda good.
