What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

And media has made so much of his 3pt shooting that the rest of his game is largely undiscovered. He is fantastic in transition, a great passer (though hasn't had the ball in his hands enough for the box score to show it), and gets into the lane pretty well. And excellent from the line.

I want towns, though.

From what I've seen lately he has trouble finishing around the rim and through contact. That's just my eye test. Do you know by any chance what his % is around the rim? That might be just lack of strength and is very fixable, similar to what Thompson went through... especially when you know that most of the time he's the youngest player on court. I think his game is much better and versatile than just spot up shooting.

Yeah he seems more versatile than a Redick. It's tough to transition from a ball handler to off ball guy. Looks like hes doing it well at Kentucky, although I see flashes of good ball handling and ball fakes when he gets a chance.

He is very good at using angles and the rim to protect his shot. I wish there was a mixtape of say 30 transition plays so you could see how well he understands timing and spacing. He finishes a very high percentage. And gets fouled on the misses. I don't know what the percentages are but I have watched every play of the season, at least twice, and he doesn't miss often.

I haven't followed the thread super close but what are the chances we draft Kaminsky? He's a senior so is much more ready to go and can stretch the floor.

I wouldn't hate it. Shoot me.

Kaminsky is ours.

kaminsky is an option if the rumors are true not true about tomic and or pleiss. I don't think you draft a lotto player to play 3rd fiddle.

While we are still a ways from a finished product, we arent the typical team drafting in the lotto if this second half of the season holds to form.

Drafting Booker or damn near anyone else is essentially doing the same thing. i.e. "Third fiddle".

Adding a guy that could be a third big that brings floor stretching ability, solid post D and maturity isn't a bad thing. Not a lot of home runs in that 10-12 range.

If we bring in Tomic, I'd rather burn the pick on Booker.

If we don't bring in Tomic, I'm fine with Kirk.

That Tomic thread is now unreadable. The gist I got was that there was nothing new on the Tomic front. Am I wrong?

Did I mention how great our length on defense would be with Oubre next to Exum and Hayward? We'd be like the Bucks, only with Favors and Gobert. Our defense would be guaranteed to be top 3. Plus all our starting guys would score double figures consistently. We'd always have two wings who can shoot instead of just one.

Just mull that over some...

Not really into mulling.

I have watched him and watched him and can't seem to like him.
