My problem with Booker.................

He looks way too nerdy to be a baller. He just doesn't have that "I just banged your mom and sister at the same time" look that G Spot Hayward has.

Well, he can't really. He is kind of terrible on one of the worst teams in the NBA.

And more importantly it shows cause for concern about his jumper in general.

Not an ideal shot but it makes EVERYTHING else easier if its at least kind of a threat.

Ideally you want every shot to be in the paint or from outside the 3-point line. But then there's this thing called, ya know, defense that attempts to take away those types of shots. A mid range game is still a valuable asset.

It's still a very good shot to take if you are good at it.

Just because the league is moving toward using the 3 point shot more, doesn't mean that the 2 jumper can't be used as a weapon.

Occasionally, he is pretty money from the elbow on the fast break though. Its more the long pull up 3's that most people have issues with I think.

Besides, using one of the best current players, and the greatest of all time in your argument is kinda wack! Winslow ain't either of those guys! Check the 2-pt % of guys like Carroll, Millsap, Ariza, etc. Wing defenders who can hit the 3. That's what Winslow is!

Pretty much every consistent efficient scorer has a mid range game. If you are ok with someone that plays D and camps out in the corner with the picks thats fine. I'd like to aim a little higher than that though.

I mean, if we take Winslow, he is suppose to be like our Trevor Ariza, right? A defensive animal who is physical and athletic and can hit the 3-ball.

Who knows, his pull-up game may develop, it may not. He is better than Oubre for sure though.

I'm just saying that's what Winslow is, which is why it would make more sense to compare him to those guys. Only difference really is that Winslow would be an elite defender, and those don't come by often. And they make a big difference! Hell, I think we learned with the Rudy/Kanter thing that sometimes (not always) elite defense makes a bigger impact than good offense.
