Following potential 2015 draftees

I really want one of either Russell or Johnson. Those guys have different strengths, but I think Quin can turn either of them into studs at the NBA level.

4/5 - Gobert, Favors, Tomic, Booker and Cooley/Motum
3/2 - Hayward, Burks, Hood, Russell/Johnson/Hezonja/etc., Jingles and Millsap
1 - Exum, Veteran FA or trade acquisition and Burke/Neto

Still leaves one spot to add another player for injury protection. . .

I think we can officially give up all hope of landing Russell. Unless we win the lotto.

We may be able to move up enough to get Johnson. If WCS is not available when Sacramento picks I could see us trading our pick, Burke, and non guaranteed contracts (including Booker) for Sacramento's pick, Carl Landry and maybe Darren collison. We throw in GS pick or OKC pick if need be. They would then have max salary cap space and still have a pick. I think they are committed to trying to win now and might be more willing to build through free agency rather than the draft.

If we somehow got Johnson, we could start him at SF with Hayward at SG, then play Johnson at PF and move Hayward to SF when one of our bigs needs a rest.

Gobert / Tomic
Favors / Johnson
Johnson / Hayward / Hood
Hayward / Burks / Millsap
Exum / Burke

LOL .. poor Hood.

I would love Johnson on the team but what I am getting excited about is hezonja is out of sight out of mind right now. I want Johnson, Winslow, looney, kaminsky, oubre, grant, portis, booker and Dunn to have huge games. let hezonja be the one who slips.

Let's just hope he doesn't slip too far and doesn't declare though....

Well, if we're willing to take a couple losses in meaningless games we could still draft 10th ahead of Boston and Charlotte.

Towns, Okafor, Russell, Mudiay, Porzingis, WCS, Johnson...are 7 guys pretty much guaranteed to go in the top 8 or 9.

That would leave one of Hezonja, Oubre, and [whoever you like] to fall to 10.

I like Delon Wright. He's pretty explosive and can slash all day. He has some of the appeal of Archie Goodwin, except that he has real PG skills.
