What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

Nigel has big legs, a really strong base, and pretty long arms. He moves well for his size, moves great laterally and can contain some wings. He could probably play SF. Otherwise, he'd be like a Millsap-sized PF. He doesn't appear to have a great handle or explosiveness. He's a good passer with good court vision. A pretty smart player.

i made a thread about a player from canada that i'd like to get ur thoughts on.
but the mods deleted the thread and slapped me with a frac. sorry bros.
i did my best to help out the future of the jazz. blame the mods if the jazz dont win a championship next year and in the future.

Was your thread moved to General Sports?

DX compared Winslow to Jimmy Butler today. I like the comp, but Butler is playing at an All Star level.....well, at least an Eastern Conference All Star. That might be Winslow's ceiling.

I'm concerned about Kaminsky's interior defense and rebounding at the NBA level. I guess if he's paired with Favors or Gobert, it's less of an issue.

Kaminsky's physicality (or lack thereof) seemed to show today. He couldn't seem to get inside position against the other team's big.

A versatile 6'9" PF who can defend and hit 3s seems to be a very difficult player to find. If Looney can do those things, I could see why he's a desirable commodity.

His inside game and elevation at the rim are nothing to write home about, but he could be valuable as a spot-up shooter and passer on the wing, who defends and rebounds well enough.

I would be really interested to see Portis and Looney play head to head. Portis has an Andray Blatche skill set with a better head on his shoulders.

This is why I think Turner is a better long-term prospect than Kaminsky. Kaminsky can do some interesting things handling the ball out on the floor, but realistically you don't want your center out wheeling and dealing with the ball. Kaminsky is going to be all about shooting the long ball and facilitating from the high post.

With Hayes balling out in the tourney so far he really might be the top PF in my mind now. He seems to have a more balanced skill set than the other PF's.
