Following potential 2015 draftees

Dekker looks more like Matthew McConaughey playing one of his more back-woods type roles. Hard for me not to compare Dekker to Chandler Parsons a little, but I don't think he's as athletic as Parsons.

More athletic, but less of a playmaker.

Does Hollis-Jefferson remind anyone else of Thaddeus Young?

Not saying we should draft him.. just curious if anyone also think that.

Yes I know Towns is out of range. His numbers since beginning of post-season conference play (7 games).

66.7% from the field
89.1% from the line
/36;
20.5pts
11.5rbs
4blks

I really like Dekker. Cy said earlier hes less of a playmaker than Parsons and I agree. I have to ask though, does it matter in our continuity offense? Guys like Draymond, Danny Green, and Kyle Korver have done exceptionally well in these types of systems.

I just had the rare chance to watch a full game of Vezenkov. He's such an effortless scorer. It's uncanny how easily he scores... Was struggling in the first quarter missed several jumpshots, he's extremely confident in his shot and ability to score, though... after 4 straight missed jumpshots and just 4 pts in the first half, he blew up in the 3d and I felt like anytime he touched the ball he'd score. His shot is so pure and smooth and his release so quick. Scored 2 3s and was fouled on another one. The only misses in the second half for him were 2 late of clock prayers, he was scoring in variety of ways too - he was driving to the rim, he was stopping on a dime and pulling up for midrange jumpshots, he was coming off curls for 3p shots, lol. Finished the game with 23(7/13 FG, 2/5 3P FG, 7/7 FT)/7rbs/2ast/1bl/1stl... His passing was great too, had a great spin baseline out of the post and pass to a cutting teammate.

I'm concerned with his defense though, they were trying to hide him in a zone, but he looked slow to cover ground and contest 3p shots. I really don't know what position he will be able to guard in the NBA, If he bulks up a bit he probably has a chance to be OK defending 4s. I don't think he has the lateral quickness to defend 3s.

The Buzzcuts vs UK is gonna be a great game, and one of the few college games that will help out NBA scouts quite a bit!

I think WCS may be too much for the tank... And I'm probably the biggest Frank fan here. He's quick enough to cover his drives and long enough to block his shot. He's the ideal defender with a week to prepare. Gonna need big games from dekker, Hayes, and one or two of the other homogenous white 3 point shooters Wisconsin has.

If Kaminsky dominates WCS though, does he go top #5?

But with gobert and favors roaming the paint may not matters as much.

There was a Fabtrey spotting yesterday during that Kanter shenanigan... wonder why he hasn't posted here yet? May be he's timing his arrival with the Draft Combine so he can comment on the measurements??

See you soon Fabtrey!!!!

Its possible, I think only the top 4 are locks. Three point shooting is so crucial these days. Unlike Olynyk, Kaminsky's post game is good enough to abuse smaller defenders if the other coach goes small ball on you.
That said, he probably will measure similar to Olynyk at the combine (not good).
