On the DX video where they show "Offensive Flashes" I can see the Odom comps.
He's about as close to Lamar Odom in skill as he is to Quincy Miller in body type.

He reminds me of Odom... Post Kardashian Odom
I actually like Lyles' fluidity on offense more than Looney's....

Looney is more like Detlef Schrempf in his game.
Booker will be lucky to score two points against the mighty Badgers.

Fluid is a good description of his play. I wish the mixtape had showcased less dunks with more baseline jumpers and blowby's.
Could I get a non-homer response about his ability to blow by dudes? To me, he seems like he's a guy who will always have a Serge Ibaka style game offensively. He doesn't seem the type to dribble by dudes and attack the basket in the league. I view him as a solid pick, he will be a contributor and fit into the NBA nicely, but I don't ever see him becoming a dude who will become anything beyond a decent floor spacer and ball mover. In other words, I question his ability to ever routinely make individual plays. Unless, he develops a good low post game, I suppose. That would change everything.
Ummmm... No. I don't have a great comp for Looney but he aint Detlef. I think he might be like a better shooting Ed Davis. I don't hate Looney I just don't think he's a lotto prospect.
Ed Davis can't do much away from the hoop. We'll probably go in circles trying to find a comp for Looney. There's probably one out there somewhere. I see a bit of Marvin Williams, a touch of Luol Deng...
"I've always felt he had unlimited potential," Hurley said, "but this transformation from last year to this year has been incredible. He's completely changed his mindset about where he's playing the game of basketball. I didn't think he could go from shooting 3s to being this dominant around the basket. I want to write John Calipari a note to say this is the most amazing transformation I've seen.
"We played against [Andrew] Bynum twice, and Towns is much further along in his career at the same stage. In my mind, he's the No. 1 pick in the draft. [Duke's Jahlil] Okafor is a more polished offensive player, but Towns is a better defender, rebounder and foul shooter, and is a bit more versatile now. He's personable, a great interview, plays with passion, and has a more outgoing personality than most big kids do. You can put him on the Knicks and he's an NBA All-Star."
What does coaching legend Bob Hurley Sr. think about Kentucky phenom Karl-Anthony Towns?

Not saying whether hes right or wrong, but hurley is a complete moran.
Except it was true when I said it about Webber.
And what do you think about Diallo now?
