Really? These KPoo folks seem to think they're in on the sweepstakes.
He looks like a guy who belongs in the All-American game. That's for sure.
He is the MVP of this AWFUL McD game, imo.
Will be interesting to see how much it hurts ISU/helps the Johnnies that they hired Matt Abdelmassih.
I'm not sure it's as big of a deal as some are making it out to be. With all due respect, dudes don't go to ISU because of Matt Abdelmassih, although, he does really help St. Johns. KU really thinks they have a chance tho, especially since Alexander seems like he'll be leaving. I thought UK was still in the mix?
Calipari has been seemingly going harder after Maker and Zimmerman. We have Skal and likely both Lee and Johnson coming back, so he seems to like Zimmerman for whatever reason. I'll trust him completely, but makes me a little weirded out as I'm not super high on Zim.. and I should be consulted in such things.
What does coaching legend Bob Hurley Sr. think about Kentucky phenom Karl-Anthony Towns?

Ummmm... No. I don't have a great comp for Looney but he aint Detlef. I think he might be like a better shooting Ed Davis. I don't hate Looney I just don't think he's a lotto prospect.
What? Ed Davis is pretty much just a center.
Looney can shoot 3's and defend SF and PF"s. At this point he is a defensively versatile player who rebounds with 3&D capabilities who has a strong IQ. He is kind of lanky right now, but I think he has a solid frame to add strength. Let's not forget he was playing with a fractured face toward the end of the season. He is offensively raw, but I think there are enough flashes to believe he will develop in that area.
Are there any good highlights of him? Or does DX have a video up? I haven't watched him a ton, but the times that I have he kinda scares me with how passive he is.

Could Hezonja ended up being more of a Galinari but at the SG position (i.e., an average NBA career)?
I know he has potential to be Ginobili but who says he can't become more of a Galinari? For every Nowitzki there are 100's of Bargnani's.
I dont' wanna be racist or anything but I worry about native European wings.... (so the GreekFreak doesn't count).

I think you are way off. He can defend any NBA 3 IMO.They are basically the same size. Both are slender power forwards who do most of their damage on put backs and drop offs. Looney hit a few threes and that is not Ed's game but that is the main difference I see between them. The sample size is really small and he shoots 63% from the line so I'm not sure he's really a shooter... we'll see. People had thought Ed would gain weight too... it doesn't happen for everyone.
The fractured face affected him in the tournament... I watched him at the beginning, middle and end of the season and never walked away impressed.
As far as strong IQ and 3 and D... those are guesses. He won't be able to guard most 3s in the NBA. He's going to have to play PF. If he can guard NBA PFs he'll be a decent player... Kind of like how Ed Davis is a decent player. The Ed Davis comp is not perfect, but it's a lot closer than the Lamar Odom, Luol Deng comps... he doesn't move that well.
