Following potential 2015 draftees

Yeah, I lol at Jazzfanz saying "draft BPA" when everyone's draft boards are going to be different. Someone who is BPA to us may not be BPA to DL. Most of Jazzfanz thought Luke Babbit was BPA over Hayward.

Of course everyone's BPA is going to be different. This isn't an exact science, that's why these threads reach 1000 pages every year. When people say, "draft BPA" they're saying that the FO simply needs to take who they view as the BPA, not that there's some magical BPA list created by the Basketball Gods that all GMs have access to.

It really doesn't matter where Gordon plays, it's who he plays with. Let's stop acting like there is any difference offensively between SG and SF in our offense. They are wings. Some handle the ball and create, some don't.

Hayward was guarded predominantly by SFs this year. It does make a difference if he has a quickness advantage over the guy guarding him.

I think it's unlikely that Hayward will be starting next to a bigger SF. That player would have to be high impact. Call it my opinion.

From reading a Pacers' board, it seems like Indiana is looking for a PF/C or PG who can contribute immediately. Their fans seem to like Kaminsky, Lyles and Grant. Hopefully their needs are different from ours and they pick someone we don't really want.

Obviously when we say BPA it means who DL and the scouts think is BPA. And I do think need plays a big part if several players are ranked closely together when it comes down to that pick.

This is absolutely correct. If it was easier for 2 guards to stop him then teams would have put a 2 guard on him... Not like joe ingles, millsap, and others were major threats. Hayward just got better at reading defenses and got stronger. He can guard most 2 guards as well. May have trouble with the small quick guys like Monta, but he's fine. Having another big wing would help with our switch everything philosophy. Good post Cy.

Also generally the more length a guy has the harder it is to score on him. Would you rather have Kwahi Leonard guarding you or Danny Green. Can't think of many two guards that would give Hayward problems.

Hasnt declared, hasnt said a word. Seems like he's seriously thinking about staying, which would be stupid, but what do I know?

He or someone close to him has said he will declare... He's selecting an agent per the reports I saw... Google it.

Apparently it was reported then Russell said it was false on twitter... I guess until Woj says it we shouldn't consider it true.
