Look how slow he is in the open court. You can tell he tries to go to the next gear when he approaches teh 3pt line, but he still looks very slow. He gets to the rim because no one turns around and the entire opposing team looks like they are 6'5 and under.
 
Can this dude play defense? Being ranked as the worst PNR defender in the nation is a pretty damning indicator of his defensive ability. If he can't defend he can't play. Period.
 
Sticking with Kaminsky or Booker. I think either of these two guys will help our bench take the next level. Frank is a gamer, willing passer, and can do a lot of things I wanted Tomic to. Booker is a scorer, a shooter, and fearless all around player.

Yep, the part in that article about his defense is very cringe-worthy and they even question his decision making in offense. I guess his position in mocks is about what you can expect from a player who can't defend to save his life.

You certainly can't have too much shooting in the modern NBA. The key is to have an equal amount of defense.

He had 53 3pt attempts, that's a decent sample size I guess, more than Vonleh last year who managed to hit some this year in his limited time.
He is a great rebounder but needs to learn to pass the ball out when surrounded. With his average hops and weak footwork won't be getting many of those
putbacks to go like he did in college.

yah, Lillard had almost 40 inch vertical, I doubt Harvey is anywhere near that. That's the fastest u-turn I've done on a prospect. I was so excited by looking at a couple of highlight vids and a statline... but the section with the defense on the cbs article is quite damning and brought me back to earth - if he doesn't improve considerably, he won't be able to get any playing time to show off his offensive game because of his defense being such a huge liability.
 
I'd still prefer we trade down to collect an extra asset or 2 if we are unable to move up, but if we do stay put at #12, I have a feeling we will be choosing between whoever remains out of Oubre, Kaminsky, & Turner, with Portis & Looney getting some consideration. As much as I don't like the idea of taking a long-term backup in the lottery, I would be okay with 1 of Kaminsky or Turner, especially now that Tomic is no longer an option. Kaminsky is a perfect fit offensively as our 3rd big due to his 3 pt range & low post offense, but I could see the FO preferring Turner because of his solid range, good defense & better long-term potential. Turner may never develop a consistent 3 pt shot like Kaminsky, but unlike Frank, he has the mixture of range/defense that the FO & QS would likely prefer out of our backup C. They probably won't have to choose between the 2 as 1 of them will likely be selected along with Oubre before our pick. My guess is we wind up with Turner, who could be the best combination of need & potential. If the FO didn't like T.Booker so much, I could see us going with Portis or Looney instead, but I have a feeling they'd like to retain Booker beyond next year. I'd still trade down before taking Turner if the right deal were to present itself, but if not, we could do worse than Turner. If he is ever able to develop any kind of fluidity & get over his physical awkwardness, he could turn out to be a steal at #12.

Its that write up that makes me want Anderson more. The fact that in the off season he changed his mechanics of his shot show his work ethic. If you watched him later in the season he started to drift back to his old habits. A better regime in the offseason I think his shooting will be much better. Is he going to be a star? NO but he will be a solid piece on a good team.

I'm hoping Turner and/or Looney go top 10, pushing someone else down. I'd still like to get Oubre, even if it means trading up to 10 with Miami to do it.
