But can't you say the same thing about Looney if you decide to play him at the 3? Plus Looney has better length and seems to shoot it better from 3 as well.
Oubre's wingspan is only an inch shorter than Looney's. So in terms of position, Oubre is longer.
It also remains to be seen if Looney could spend time at the 3 in the NBA. I think the potential for that is there, but it shouldn't just be assumed.
In the end, I like what both bring to the table. They've got good upside, especially at #12. I'll be happy with either, but I think it's more likely to be Looney.
