Following potential 2015 draftees

So for all the Frank haters how do you feel after reading that Lowe piece? Shooting? yup! Passing? yup! Driving? yup! Post up smaller dudes? yup!

I do think this makes a good case for the idea of the player that Looney could be as well.

No to Frank. He doesnt fit the physical profile or athleticism of the guys Lowe mentioned. He is not Captain Trillsap, Dray, or Diaw. He has more in common with Channing frye and Ryan anderson than the guys Lowe mentioned. I just dont see him getting into the teeth of the d, causing a defensive switching imbalance and making plays.

But what do i know? Thing is i think frank will find a place in this league and he will be a very solid player. Can definitely see why people like him.

He can't be guarded with a small forward, he can pass, and he does more off the dribble than people realize. That pump fake drive will continue to be a good threat. I don't know that the physical profile fits, but the skill set and offensive advantages are pretty clear.

Again it comes down to defense for me, but if guys like Mirotic, Dirk, and Ryan Anderson have survived so can Frank.

I think a guy like Stanley Johnson fits the profile fairly well... although I don't remember him making plays from the post. I do think this means we need to get Hayward in the post a bit more. He is really good when he drives and spins off the guy and fades away... he creates a ton of separation that way.

Don't think anyone hates him, just prefer others at 12.

After reading this I expect to see Hayward try posting up more and Rudy/Derrick take their passing to another level.

That will be a bug step in improving the offense next year.

A bug step is a pretty small step. Like what a tic tac or something?

There are some haters for sure... I totally understand the group that prefers someone else though and have said as much.

You tha expert on Portis... didn't you say there aren't many good bigs in his conference. Would you take Portis or Frank? Just curious.

Anyone an insider and can post what Ford said about Looney today from workouts... said he's raising questions not sure if that is in a good way or bad way.

Not sure Hayward has much of a post game other then driving spinning and fadeaway shot.
What about giving Barnes the MAX?
How about ****ting on ur self

He may not be as athletic as those u mentioned, but u act as though he's a 7ft stiff that can't move at all. He's not. He's tough minded and smart. He will figure out how to guard with his length. Honestly believe he's got better lateral quickness then Favors and Favors did fine guarding away from the post. Plus he'd be playing with Gobert and Favors who are great rim protectors.

If I remember correctly, Stanley has the beginnings of a post game from High School days. He wasn't used that way at Arizona, though.

Also remember he has advantages that the likes of Millsap Dray and Diaw don't have and can do more on offense and truthfully has more tools on defense to be honest. Those guys get eaten alive by bigger 4's.

That's my point. With his size he should be working on a back to the basket game so that he can take advantage of mismatches that will happen next season.

Jordan, Kobe, Wade, LBJ, Durant, Melo and others use that as part of their arsenal. I think that would be a great way to help Hayward score a couple more points a game and make the offense a little more diverse.

Something that needs more discussion. Part of me wants to just be done with Burke, and since we are fairly deep at other positions it might be good to draft a pg. even if that means staying at 12 and drafting Pain. As I've stated before though. I think Grant and wright are underrated and we could get an extra future pick to give us more building blocks and tools to grab a good vet. Thoughts.
