Following potential 2015 draftees

So the prediction is that the experience helps Kentucky while the overall decline in top tier talent in the NCAA also plays a role?

Maybe. I suppose having the most return, ever, under Calipari, along with a stellar recruiting class, has something to do with it.

I predict this team will have 10 future NBA players with 9 being first rounders. That's never been done in history.

Emmanuel Mudiay preseason debut in China: 21 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block in victory.

hm...

Kentucky's BigBlueMadness was last night. Team is legit.

The guy who maybe impressed me the most (in the scrimmages) was Andrew Harrison. I predict a great year and increased draft stock.

Draftexpress posted their scouting report on Jahlil Okafor:

I really really like him. He already has very polished offensive game and has the length to be an OK defender. On one hand I hope we get him, on the other getting him would mean we were either extremely lucky in the lottery or really bad during the season :\

This draft should have quality players through the top 10. I'll be watching a lot of Arizona hoops and Stanley Johnson. I think we will be a stud.

DX:
Another player who appears to still be growing is Duke freshman Justise Winslow. He measured 6-4 ½ without shoes in June of 2013, but seems to have grown an inch and a half in the span of a year, and will likely be listed at 6-7 at least. He also added 11 pounds to his chiseled frame in that time.

I think Stanley Johnson and Justise Winslow would be nice hauls from this draft. Both are tanks at SF at 243 lbs and 229 lbs respectively, so could play some stretch 4 as well.

Neither of them can shoot, so stretch 4 isn't quite accurate at this stage.

Players I'm Interested In:

Sam Dekker
Stanley Johnson
Bobby Portis
Chris Walker
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
Caris Levert
Kelly Oubre

I'll have to use Cy's assessments this season with PG_AB gone. I'm not going to catch many games this year me thinks. I think that's a pretty safe move unless there's an Aaron Gordon in this draft.

Or maybe I should roll with kkk's analysis?

What say you PKM?

You can't go wrong with Cy (who is awful at projecting talent) or kkk (who is awful at trying to make players what they aren't), so take your pick.

I will say that I am optimistic about Andrew Harrison making huge strides from freshman to sophomore seasons.

Also remember Trey Lyles. Could be in Jazz range (he will be moving up the draft boards) and is a stretch 4 that can play a little sf. (6'10)

As I have said, I expect a big season out of Andrew Harrison. He and Aaron have both dropped their body fat % from around 16% last year to less than 5% right now.

Last practice, Andrew had a MONSTER dunk. I slowed it down and stopped it right at the apex of his jump.. he's way faster and more athletic than last year.
