Yeah, he's trying to grasp the concepts within the offense. He's all Burks-ish atm. Might take him a while to figure it out, although, I don't think a team that plays zone is a good matchup for him from an individual standpoint.
 
Anyone know anything about Egemen Guven? He is ranked as the top international prospect born in 1996 at both Draft Express and nbadraft.net https://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Egemen-Guven-62830/ and https://www.nbadraft.net/players/egemen-guven gets comparisons to Pau Gasol.

Also two other Turks are ranked top 5-10 international 1996 named Berk Ugurlu and Ayberk Olmaz.

There seems to be another highly rated 1997 prospect international named Furkan Korkmaz. He is ranked as a lottery pick in 2017 by draftexpress.com.

Lots of Turks coming up including James Metecan Birsen and Kenan Sipahi. I forget which one but one of them was considered the best 16 year old basketball player in the world at one point (not just best international 16 year old) but regressed.

Funny thing I noticed though is that all of these upcoming Turkish Players seem to follow each other on twitter and Enes Kanter doesn't follow any of them nor does he get followed by them. Also Egemen, Ayberk and Berk are HUGE followers of Ataturk which Enes Kanter political group is very against. Seems they don't look up to Kanter but Hedo Turkoglu instead judging by their twitter.

I want Jazz to draft Berk or Ayberk just to add to their Burke and Burks.

As you should. UK has been #1 in recruiting every year under Calipari.. but we don't get them all.

It was joke, but thats all I keep hearing about from KY faithful.

Here is what I have heard. The zimms are concerned with UNLV's struggles getting to and then succeeding in the tournament. They are also concerned to why so many players have transferred the past few years. They hosted the coaching staff for in an house the visit (the first team in home). The conversation was very candid and while they want Z to stay home they don't want him toiling away on middling team. Z wants to play PF at the next level and wants demonstrate his stretch 4 abilities. UNLV's record with AB has him excited to fill a similar role.

A lot of insiders feel that the Zimm's inistence that Z wait to announce in the spring give the rebels an advantage due the chance the rebels take off this year with a talented young group which is all the Zimms need to see to convince him just to stay home for a OAD career. Mom says she sees him maybe staying more, but privately the family wants him OAD.

No doubt my sources lack your sources credibility, but I am lucky to be around enough people tied to UNLV, Findlay and Gorman to get the inside track on a few things. Called Rashad and Bennett early and I am going to bank on Z for now. If the rebels stink this year...anything goes.

Most of all that lines up. A spring decision bodes better for UK than UNLV for the same reasons but amplified. Ms. Z LOVES Cal.. like, a lot.
Tbh, I am not even sure Z is a good fit at this point. We have Briscoe, will likely get Blakeney, and have Skal.. this team is shaping up to RUN and uber athletic.

Make no mistake, the Z's WANT UK but are uncertain what the roster looks like after the season and that is why they are waiting, period.

Yeah I think she wants to bang him. Maybe Eric decides to keep her away from him and pushes UNLV.
