Following potential 2015 draftees

Okafor is undersized for a center as far as height goes (from the measurements available) but he does have an elite wingspan. He seems to be about the same size as Favors. Hard to be an elite rim protector when you are undersized. Seems like the best defensive centers, as far as rim protection goes, are huge or similar size to Favors/Okafor with much quicker feet.

Favors measurements are virtually identical to Dwight's who's an elite rim protector and a player one would never say is undersized.

Dwight: Height with shoes= 6'10.25", Standing reach = 9'3.5", no step vert = 30.5", max vert = 35.5"
Favors: Height with shoes = 6'10.25", Standing each = 9'2", no step vert = 31.5", max vert = 35.5"

Is this kinda like Dwight VS Okafor all over again???? I don't really remember what tipped the scale that time.

Towns seems more athletic to me, Okafor has NBA ready size/body but doesn't really seem to be that athletic. Thoughts?
No, it's not.

Towns is not Dwight Howard.

I'm not sold on either Okafor or Towns being plus defenders in the NBA. Okafors polish and IQ puts him a bit above Towns to me.

I'd say 4 behind Okafor, Towns, Mudiay.

I'm not so sure any of them are better prospects than Exum. Okafor and Mudiay will have a bigger impact from day one in the NBA, but Exum is a guy that was grouped with Wiggins, Parker, and Embiid as a prospect.

Mudiay has shown more than Exum had or probably has at this point. Towns is a pretty skilled big, a 7-foot Greg Monroe.
Teams are going to go for that yo.

He just don't have the agility or strength Dwight has. That said, Favors per36 numbers are within an arms reach of Howard this year.

Like I said, he's more NBA ready, but I don't think he has the ceiling of Exum.

Aren't the big men still the most valuable in the NBA? I think Exum would be out of the top three again. Especially without any hindsight.

Completely disagree.

Also, I think the most valuable players are the most valuable. Size is an attribute that is a factor in computing overall value, but it's not the only one.

Obligatory sexual innuendo

Bigger is always better, let's be honest.
