Following potential 2015 draftees

Love Cauley-Stein's game. He's gonna be a solid NBA player one day.

Karl Towns stills scoreless nearly half way through 2nd half.

The risk of drafting a pure shooter like Booker or Stauskus is if the shots aren't falling, there isn't much you can fall back on.

Klay has his length & is strong enough to go inside or put it on the floor if the shots aren't falling.

Booker's first step is much quicker than Stauskas. Not sure he can go left though, which he would need.

Klay was not what he is now when he entered the league... and he had 3 years in college... Klay's improvements have been some of the most impressive ones I've seen from a player in the NBA. Booker can improve a lot, also... he's showing now that he can be more than a spot up shooter. He's been taking people off the dribble and has been penetrating. He needs some strength to be more successful in his finishes around the rim. (BTW Klay had the exact same weakness when he was entering the league... )

I remember Stauskas being able to do that in college, and even with that he struggled to do it in the NBA. Has Booker shown an ability to get his shot off one on one at the college level consistently? Cos he'll need to do at least that, let alone going up against bigger NBA players.

Lol Nickkk says this as Booker goes 5/15 from the field tonight but still is leading his team with 18 points.

But Klay's advantage over Booker is his size though right which you can't teach?

I think that will play part mainly in defense and not so much in offense. According to UK's combine his athleticism is elite, so I expect that to help him a lot in the paint...

Jimmer & Stauskus are great college shooters with limited height/athletic/physical attributes who have struggled at the NBA level.

We need to keep this in mind when evaluating/projecting players.

Really? Cos I haven't really seen that from him yet. If he is elite athletically then he should sit comfortably in the top #10, otherwise I'd still have doubts.

Add Mcdermott to the list as well. But its too early to use last years in these discussions I think.

I wouldn't say that Booker is limited physically. He's certainly not elite, but he's average, certainly not limited.

Hm, just checked... for some reason I was left with the impression that it was elite. Disregard my previous post, it's wrong. The number is 35.5'' max vertical, which is exactly average for SGs in the league.
