I'll disagree with you. He handles, passes, runs fast breaks, scores inside and out, shoots off the catch and the bounce. He's not Hezonja.
Hezonja was doing all of those things for Barcelona... for their first team.

Seriously. Could a player who speaks no English be successful in the NBA?

That's what Kurucs is at this point....From what I saw, Hezonjia was mostly a spot-up shooter and straight-line driver. Impressive stroke and impressive athlete, but not much in-between game.
Chad Ford is saying that DJ Wilson's feedback from NBA workouts has been positive. However, I think the only team Wilson worked out for so far is the Jazz, meaning the Jazz gave him positive feedback. Am looking to see if he worked out for other teams.
Ford now has Wilson at #27 on his big board.
I like Kurucs, but there just isn't a lot of film on him playing against high level competition. Foolish to say he can replace Ingles in his rookie year.Yeah, I think so too... Kurucs is not the level of prospect Hezonja was. I know it's easy to use hindsight and declare him a bust, but he was universally considered a premier prospect with great physical and athletic traits, with good shot and some playmaking potential. The fact that he hasn't developed one iota since then, shouldn't fool us into thinking Kurucs is much different/better prospect. There is a reason one was drafted top 5 and the other might go outside of the top 20.

I told people on here. I watch video on him and Lydon/Leaf and I dont see how it's close. Kuzma moves with a fluidity w/ the ball that is unmatched at the 4 in this draft. His shot looks like butter too. Simple mechanics and quick release.
He might post a bit more with his size, but he doesn't have a modicum of Ingles point guard abilities

I thought he worked out for Indiana
