What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Kentucky's backcourt.

Fox on pace to break Ulis' assists record.
Monk on pace to break Murray's 3pt record.

They are so fun to watch.

Isn't it absurd that they used to question if Fox was even a PG? Wasn't even that long ago when you think about it.

I can remember posting here when scout switched his position to SG and dropped him to 4-star and saying it was a joke.

Didn't even know Scout had done that.
Ridiculous.

After coming out the first game and shooting 1-7 from 3, Monk is now averaging better than 42% from 3 on better than 3 makes per game.

He has unreal lift and a super high release. 42" vert.

It's interesting ya say that. I always used to compare him to Zach LaVine but now I'd say he's somewhere in-between Jerryd Bayless and LaVine with traces of Bradley Beal and Lou Williams.

Monk is another that will be a great 6th man in the NBA but never a starter. Atleast on a good squad. Come off the bench and get buckets at a rapid rate.

Kind of ridiculous thing to say about a 19 year old player.

You don't think Monk could start on a team like the Bucks and be really damn good? Or the Rockets? Or countless of other teams that have star wings act as the primary playmaker.

Because we all know Allen Iverson faired in the nba.

I would love monk and he is the perfect fit for this team.

Getting rid of burks

Hill, exum, neto
Hood, monk
Hayward, Johnson
Favors, Lyles, bolomboy
Gobert, free agent or draft pick
*Bolomboy might be center also

I would trade picks and or burks to move up to get monk. Playing next to exum would be perfect.

The more I watch college games, the more hyped I get about this year's crop of freshmen and even sophomores... I just wish we could draft higher without sacrificing playoff spot... How high do you think 20+29 gets you?

49?

I'd say around 16/17.

Motley was supposed to be on my last mock. I screwed up. I might even debut him in the 30's in the next.

He ran them off the floor in that game yesterday. The 7-footer they've got really looks good too.
