What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

They are/were overrated, so many Duke fans swore they were hands down the best team when healthy. Marques Bolden has no business in anyone's top20 or 2017 1st rd mock, unless they're biased.

Only thru the first half (great action btw on FS1) but Justin Patton is going into the top-20, as the picture of the bigs in the 20-40 range becomes less murky he's clearly one of the winners (so far -- Drew Eubanks too). It'd be most fortunate if he fell to the Jazz pick.

I don't like what Coach K is doing either. I'd use Tatum and the bench/rotation much differently.

#20 FSU v #12 UVA tipping off soon.

I'm telling ya Kyle Guy is gonna blow up. The announcer was talking about how he didn't miss a shot in warmups, comes in the game and drills a 3 right away.

He's like a young 2005 2nd rd pick Travis Diener but 2" taller.

How has Tatum looked? I see a bit of Tobias Harris in him, though Tatum may be a bit more athletic and is a better lateral defender.

Dwayne Bacon with a monstrous game to carry FSU to a huge victory over Virginia. 6/9 from 3!!

UVA should start Kyle Guy and give him the greenlight..

I've always liked Josh Hart and he had a nice double-double today. Villanova looks good and Brunson is a beast too he put up 27 today as well. Going to be a tough team to beat.

just finished the FSU/Virginia game. Bacon scored 27 in the second half, including the game winner with 2 seconds to play. one of the best performances you'll ever see considering he did that against the best defensive team in the country, a team that allows an average of 23 points per half. one guy dropped 27 on them at their place. unreal.

Fresh mock for 2017!

I really wanted to put Kyle Guy as the 31st pick in that mock. I'd go as far as saying I think he's got a chance to be a starting NBA PG.

Little doubt in my mind he'd be far superior to Trey Burke in Utah in the same type of role. He's bigger, a better athlete defender and shooter.. ..

While were talking UVA -- Their RS Fr. Mamadi Diakite who's built like Cheick Diallo (6'9" skinny long-armed shotblocker) is 3/7 from 3 on the season. Yesterday he stroked one with his foot on the line that looked pure --- Definitely something to keep an eye on moving forward given his physical tools.

6'7" Maryland Fr. Kevin Huerter who I mentioned here preseason as my favorite 4-star Freshman SG in the class is going off vs Nebraska right now..

26points (on 7/11 from 3) 5rebs, 3ast 3 stl.

Maryland is collapsing late tho!!!

Yet another 20 / 20 game for Caleb Swanigan, he hit a shot to bring it to OT with seconds to go too. #15Purdue loses to young Pitino and Minnesota tho..

Diakite is very interesting. Reminded me of jeremy Evans - higher upside of course due to his youth. Had a huge dunk in that game yesterday. Big time run/jump athlete.

I looked at some Swanigan highlights hoping to see something I liked, but he looked closer to Big Al mobility than Paul Millsap's.

Yeah he's kinda lumbering its why I hve a much easier time placing him in the 2018 mock. I kinda prefer Bama So. Donta Hall at this point, who's much more of a shot-blocker.
