What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

If the 6ers pass on fultz it will be another huge screw up by them.

They'll have to win the lottery first. If the Lakers pick wins the lottery, it's not theirs. So they need their own pick to win which is getting increasingly unlikely when you consider how solid they've been lately. Unless they shut down Embiid for ******** reasons(which would cause a fan panic) or play him in impossible lineups like Simmons + Okafor + JoJo, while also decreasing his minute limit from 28 to 20...
IF they push hard I wouldn't be surprised if they finish the East in front of Orlando(I think surpassing the Knicks and Pistons is harder unless something weird happens in those places...which wouldn't be that weird)
In the West after Gay's achilles rupture I think bagging the Kings is likely and the Pelicans up and down play is also not unlikely to continue. Their players are also injured. A LOT. Alec Burks style A LOT.
6-10 range is the most likely pre lottery spot for the 6ers, which would give them a 6.3-1.1% chance at #1 overall.
I think if the Mavs try hard they'll finish better than Philly. I'd still like them to get Fultz and see if Cuban and Carlisle can go the tank + rebuild route or if they'll become Sacramento v2

Shake Milton has 15points with 19minutes to go in the 2nd half and UConn has 17 total... UConn is a lot like a wounded animal or a fighter that's completely out of it but the ref hasn't called it yet.. tough to watch.. I really kinda feel for Rodney Purvis specifically..

Isaac Hamilton and Zach Collins with some quality showings tonight.

GREAT gm for Jordan Bell and terrible for Ivan Rabb - was shutout at the half and finished with 4 on 10FGA's.

KJ Lawson with career high's 28 16 (and he had 5ast)

Finally Marylands Justin Jackson got 4 assists!! When I first heard of him they said he was a 6'7" PG and he hasn't show it thus far. Anemic Assist #'s

Nice stat line vs Iowa in victory today

28 minutes - 12, 9 rebs, 2blk, 6stl

Looks good. His defensive reactions may be the best sign. He's definitely playing harder and with more confidence than earlier in the year.

Brandon Ingram did get 6 blocks in a game last year but that effort from Isaac SHOULD signal the very the end of any negative comments here about anything related to his athleticism.

I can actually still see Isaac going as high as 2..

Isaac, as he relates the the Jazz, is in the "Too good to be true" tier of this draft. I'd imagine that determination has already been made..

He'd help close the athleticism gap vs small-ball lineups (while keeping the size advantage).

He'd play exactly the position I was calling for with Harrison Barnes(or Tobias Harris or Aminu)... A lineup of Hill-Hood-Hayward-Isaac-Gobert could be a REALLY dangerous lineup to break smallball teams..

Teams play so small in spots too at times you could certainly try Lyles at 5 and Isaac at 4..

Isaac'sin many ways like the real deal Perry Jones III or Anthony Randolph type.. He's really safe tho, mid-high 90's

Damn. ACL? meniscus? Or something else?

Not sure about specifics. My opinion is he's still gotta declare (I thought he should've declared in 2016 tbh)

He should still be off the board before Utah picks, if he were to fall to them because of this - that could be fortuitous..

I think he might be there, historically injuries have made GMs very nervous.

I think he'd have gone top-20 last year for sure. I think he'll go top-18 this year with the injury. He can definitely regain lottery status next year.. If I was him I'd highly consider going tho.

HE's a no-brainier at the Jazz pick if he falls.. Utah doesn't need any early returns from him..

If he can start to show 3-pt range and some handle during workouts, GMs will love him.
